I had no clue who Freddy was when I clicked on the link, but I just looked up stupid in the dictionary and I think that's his picture next to the definition.

I so agree with the sentiment, SJ, but is there another word you could use? Moron, idiot, lame ass, joke, knucklehead...

(Just quoting dizzy's post, but not singling her out..)

Us assholes, dorks, retards, morons, idiots, lame asses, jokes, knuckleheads, fuckwads, assmunches, scrotumleeches, etc, of the world take offense at anyone grouping this individual alongside any of us. Please cease and desist. Clearly, this individual (and any like him) are in a class of their own.

Thank you.

Slightly unrelated, my sons school councillor told me 2 weeks ago that taking narcotics wasn't illegal, after a ponderous WTF? silence I managed to ask her Why then are they illegal? I then asked boy's headmaster to fire the thick bitch or at least ensure she is never allowed near my child.

To be fair, having or taking narcotics is not illegal. Over-the-counter Tylenol is a narcotic. Having illegal narcotics or using them in an illegal manner is what is illegal. Having and using prescription narcotics in the manner prescribed by your attending physician to treat a medical condition is not in any way illegal. Granted, however, that the common [misuse] of the term narcotics generally refers to the illegal kind.

ROFL! Sorry tazzy, my bad. And yes, I seem to have a very hard time finding T and A.. :-x

::puts down the vodka before his typoing gets any worse::

Tylenol isnt a narcotic, mixing it with another drug such a codeine makes is a narcotic.

It would have been better had you fixed the mistake first.

~sighs

Keep drinking, seems I have lost interest in posting tonight.

Thank you.

With all due respect she aint clever like that she was referring to illegal shit
I was medicated/ prescriptioned into addiction to morphine back in the when for a destroyed ankle & she was being a snide fucker.
Small town reputations etc. Over 30 years later I'm still a junkie although I only ever took what the doc gave me.

But round here me an Keef an Ossie are the lost boys

NBZ: Ahh, understood. Either way though, I'd still have done the same as you and recommended she be fired. I wouldn't want her giving counseling and advice to my children like that. On here, a misused/misplaced word can and does upset people, but the potential for real damage is not as great as it is with impressionable young minds. Back when I was in HS during the cold war and Communist Russia was promoted as being wholly evil and such, we had a bit of a scene when an instructor had said "The basic idea of communism itself is not inherently a bad thing," despite going on to explain how and why it turned in to a "bad thing" in the police state of Russia at the time.

tazzy: My sincere apologies, but the "edit" button was not active on my post when I tried, so I did the best I could.

Awww man, upon my adolescent dalliance with socialism the old man took me on the grand tour of the eastern bloc in it's halcyon days to convince me of the errors of my ways.

It worked.
