I would do a background check just to be safe. IF there is a history of theft, abuse, drug use and other felonies, I would step away, if not run from the fellow. My 2nd exe failed to mention prison time in CA and drug use. Ruined my credit report and I am safe now with a divorce and a threat of police action if he came near me again. It has been a peaceful 5 years.

Actually all the OP asked for was reputable background check sites lol i don't remember him asking for people's input as to what he is doing. Someone simply asked him why he was doing checks on himself and he answered.

Maybe i missed a post of his asking for advice as to what was occuring between himself an the woman.

However, i offer unsolicited advice a lot lol on discussion boards -- usually with a good faith offering. OP, if you are going to post on a message board be prepared for it and have some thick skin because opinions are like assholes -- everyone has one about what everyone else is doing.

Op certain jobs do backgroud checks, they go as far back as where you were
born and all of the history of mother, and father and even friends! I had one done
and it was great i passed it! My son has a security clearance check they went back
too family friends, and schools! My father told me never put my name on something
i did not wish to have come back years later, i still do not sign petions ,etc! They look at everything
in your life!
