Far be it from me to disagree mike, but I'm not absolutely convinced about that. It's possible that Willbur could have had a specific person in mind.

About a fortnight ago, on a now pulled thread, Willbur threw a nasty racial slur at me. He was asked to substantiate it or withdraw and apologise. The very next post he admitted he had "no evidence" but repeated his slur (and added a few more for good measure).

So it is possible that when Willbur complains about "bigotry [that] is either imagined or is claimed in order to stifle discussion" he has himself in mind.

Tweak, you have to realize that the "Politically-Correct" Anal-Retentives use the terms "bigot" and "racist" to try to stifle any thoughts they don't agree with.
They're famous for it!
Everyone in here should be calling them on it! Wouldn't you agree?

A few of your looney Right fellow-travellers have thrown such slurs at me because I say things they don't agree with. Repeatedly. (See my previous post for one such example)

Does this mean you are calling (say) Willbur a "Politically-Correct" Anal-Retentive"?

If so, I'm afraid I'd have to remind you that Willbur is definitely not "politically correct".

Tazzy just spotted what anyone else can. Your reply to me wasnt about anything I put in my post.

As I told Wilbur, if you, make that either of you, can show me stiffling debate then fell free. I only point out racism and bigotry where I see it. The whole "thought police" anal retentive politically correct" bullshit is no more than an attempt to excuse whats going on.

I didnt say he didnt use the word "race", I said he didnt in what you quoted.
