id be interested in anyone selling an underbust corset, or a corset made for men. My waist size is between a 30 and 32. looking for one that laces up, preferably in the back, and any material will do.

Have one made for you. It costs a bit, but worth it. Custom corset is something you will wear with pleasure because it will fit correctly and therefore tight lacing will be sustainable. Have had good results from www.waspcreations.com mistress of the place is Amy Crowder. Is most welcoming to men and gracious. She has moved from Kansas City to New York. You can probably get a high quality garment for around $300.

Drop an email to Psydde at www.deliciouscorsets.com. They're located in Philadelphia, PA but travel all over the country vending and also marketing their off the rack and custom lines. Psydde wears corsets himself and is a great friend (I also used to sell his merchandise and can speak to his quality craftsmanship.) He does fashion shows for most of the local fetish balls and events and has featured an all-male corset line in his shows (and many were very masculine styles!)

Being someone who's fitted over 500 corsets for customers, and who's sold Ian's (Vollers) corsets for a number of years, I have to disagree with your position that a VC would be a good choice for him. Vollers cuts their corsets with true female measurement variances from hip to waist to underbust line. It's a rare occasion that a male actually fits properly into one of his garments simply for this reason! The bottom generally gaps at the hip and the chest is normally too narrow, either pinching the wearer or leaving the back of the corset terribly laced into a V pattern (it should be evenly laced at the back, leaving 2-3 inches open symmetrically up and down the lacing placket.) There are plenty of affordable options out there that will customize a cut, or offer a men's corset without having to take something off the rack and intended for a female body.
