They can't.
Even trying to extract such a promise in the first place is probably unconstitutional. They'd have more luck trying to legally enforce a Gorean slave contract than that bunch of nonsense, I suspect...

This will back fire and add even more embarrassment to a pretty bare-assed bunch.

Sort of my point, Taz: I don't think the Goreans even use written slave contracts, do they?

what I don't get is why they don't just give us what the majority has been voting for for the last few decades, no goddamn government.

The majority?

No dear, the majority has been voting party lines for years. Parties want the government to flourish and increase in size so politicians can leave office with millions, businesses can continue to do business cheaper and cheaper with more handouts and they all can ignore the "little man".

Absolutely insane.  There is no way that this could hold up in court.  Some considerations:

1. This can and should be challenged by a third party.  This will undercut a major portion of their support.

2. Why should the GOP voters be bound to this and not the Democratic voters?

I suspect this is specifically aimed at discouraging Ron Paul and Trump from launching third party bids.

Actually it is aimed at keeping Democrats from voting in the GOP primary. They're afraid we'll doy what Rush and his minions couldn't do in 2008.

Why would they not want a democrat voting in a GOP primary?

Why would they not want a democrat voting in a GOP primary?

Because we might vote for Santorum or Bachmann for instance, if they had made it onto the ballot.

Democrats don't have to do that, they just take another sip of the Kool-Ade.

Only someone so driven by partisan dogma could look at this thread and translate it into a shot at registered Democrats.
Unfucking believable

Maybe... I was wondering just how they could enforce such a promise.

They can't,its just a Republican circle-jerk,and one poster here is under the impression that this in some way puts the Democrats in bad light......lol.

I hope they check drivers licenses, (GOP might want to fuck all that big government voter ID shit it is hurting them as badly as some of the other stupidity they are slinging around), I would hate to see Mickey Mouse showing up for a goof at the polling station and writing in Gingrich and failing his oath.

The right needs to march in mindless lockstep on this one so they get more than 3 popular votes.

As long as the "other" party elects people like Bachmann, I think they have dibs on the Kool-Ade.

Great. I now have an image of Bachmann, Cain, Romney, Gringich and Trump playing the biscuit game...
