Not resolutions, but just things you may have on your bucket list or to do list that you want to crossed off by this time next year:

Some of mine are:

-of course, go back to Jamaica,

- i want to learn to dive -- i can snorkle, i am a fish in water, and i am most comfortable in the water and on the water, however, because of my asthma and bronchitis filled childhood, i developed a phobia of having both my nose and mouth covered at the same time idea, so i was never able to dive with my family.  I am determined to get past this phobia at least enough for diving lol, so when i go back i can spend tons of time in the water exploring the beautiful untamed world, and finally,

-I want to try whitewater rafting. 

Those just a few things i would love to do and try in 2012.

I want to make amends to someone I love. (not a love interest though)
I want to fix up a couple of my websites and promote them. (not my blog, some other sites)
Hire a few more girls to work with me. (after I have the other sites up and going)
Take my children on a nice vacation.
Go on at least one vacation with HM.
See Greedy when HM has a business trip this spring.
Be the person I was born to be.
(and mayyybeeee work on a book. maybe.)

I want to finish rebuilding the 1948 Willys Jeepster I started on this year....then got talked into buying 2 Ferguson TO 30's and 2 8N Ford tractors that need work.Too many projects.....[sm=runaway.gif]

finish my associates degree and start on my BA
Help my daughter have the best life she can have
Spend more time with Master and help him have the best life he can have
travel more
either open my own biz or find a job that I absolutely love
continue to lose weight
learn to play guitar
get hair extensions
maybe some plastic surgery

I'm hoping 2012 will be the year when my life starts to change in many ways.

Regain my old fitness level.

Get Rosetta Stone and regain my Italian fluency.

I want to take some beginner classes in wilderness survival skills.

Thinking about climbing a rock or two.

This is my year of real change. (I had to fight to get out of a wheelchair due to an industrial accident.) This year, I am:

  • Getting back into the Life (D/s and BDSM) in a real and physical way.
  • Going to college (enrolled already) for a job I can physically do and will enjoy.
  • Using said training to make some small difference and contribution to the world at large.
  • Loving every single step, however painful (which I already do, but it's good to keep with).
  • (Hopefully) Finding that special One to give myself to--it's been too long.
  • Learning to drive (from Los Angeles originally) and getting a car.
  • *Insert something really nifty here please, thank you*

I'm thinking of getting back into rock/wall climbing myself - I used to do it a lot when I was younger but sorta stopped after I became all reclusive (with my realization of being tg).

I've been trying to come out of my shell more in public, it's easy on the net but in person I tend to just never put myself out there.  It'd be nice to find more friends in the city.

Of course buying a climbing harness can serve more then one purpose too ^^

I'd like to say get my surgery but I'm still stuck on a waiting list with no clue on just how long.

I haven't much thought about what I want to do, but one thing I would like to see happen (bear in mind I enjoy good political/economic discussions, and am a frequent poster on several poli/econ/current events forums) is a dramatic decrease, if not a complete disappearance of, dumbassed threads (and dumbassed posts. AND dumbasses (meaning ineducable hardcore ideologues)). I know the latter is impossible, or exceedingly difficult (cognitive dissonance Terror Management techniques)

I mean, really. "Obama thinks there are 57 states!" or "Romney wants Obama to produce birth certificate!" (a new one today; the thread title is an out-and-out lie. Romney said no such thing) are the kinds of things I'd expect to see coming from little kids who are echoing stuff they think their parents said/believe, without any real understanding of what they (the kids) are saying.

I have a whole lot of things i want to get done, hopefully in 2012 but some stuff will be ongoing past that.. I cant say what those things are cuz i dont want to be jinxed.. after i do them, then i will say what they were.. [:)]

I want to hike Valencia Peak before spring. Master gypsy jazz technique on my fiddle. Figure out how to spend more time w/Wayward if he has to relocate to DC for work. Sell a whole bunch of stuff I don't need, especially the motorcycle. Get rid of the landline. Tackle cleaning out and organizing the 'room of doom' (cosmetic crafting room/miscellaneous stuff drop zone.) Fix the leaky faucets in my tenant's apartment. Sail more. Dance more.

That ought to keep me busy. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy 2012..

have another wedding, this time in front of family and friends

I have to get healthier. I want kids but I know I can't even start trying until I lose some weight. (my choice, but a wise one)
Travel less! I know it's usually the opposite but I would like to save more money this year and traveling is expensive so I'm going on one small trip (4 nights in NYC) and plan on going on one other small trip but that's it.
Buy a car.
Move. I would love for this to be out of state somewhere on the east or west coast but that's doubtful so I will settle for just moving out of my apartment into some place cheaper hopefully with a bigger kitchen.
