I had to do it once for Master when we first got together. It was not fun at all because I kept thinking of all the other things I had to get done but knew if I didn't finish by the time it was due the punishment would be worse and that alone was enough to make me do it.

If I would have had to do it online I could have been done in 10 seconds....cut and paste...and I would not have learned anything and even if the site doesn't allow it there's always ways around it. Believe me, it's not difficult.

No Formica, it was a suggestion based on a charge imposed upon me by my father when i was eight years old. My mother was the one demanding a journaling of my emotions and the synchronizing of my mind and body. I still have that journal, thirteen years of daily inputs by a man child and young man.

I can type extremely quickly with few errors.  To write something by hand.....legibly....would take me forever....and given the scar I have on my one hand, it would be hugely painful to hold a pencil or pen that long.

I vote....no in the "more effective" department.  Unless your sub can't type and is the "pick and peck" typist

I'm a speedy and generally good typist to.
So, this would be a bit of a breeze.
I'd be whistling at my keyboard probably
not the desired reaction.
If fatigue and humiliation are the goals
then writing it longhand would be the
way to go.

I found a feature on the site that randomly changes weather some letters are caps or lower case to make it harder.

I type about 100 wpm without looking at the keyboard.  Typing lines would be easy peasy for me, and I'd probably have the TV on in the background while I did it, or would gab on the phone, or anything else distracting.

But here's the thing with me re: writing lines.  My ex owner had me hand write, in my best writing, 1500 sentences.  It was ridiculous.  I had the worst hand cramping as a result, and it took me hours (my penmanship isn't that great).  Pages and pages of the same damn sentence over and over.

I have no idea now what the sentence was.  It didn't really stick. I have no memory of what I was being punished for.  I only remember the hand cramp, and that when I finished, he didn't care about seeing it.  So I took a photo of each page and emailed them to him through individual emails - an email for each page.  I can't remember how many it was, but it was a lot.

I don't remember the sentences but I do remember cluttering up his email.  Heh.

Give me something I can learn from, something effective and creative.

I have to give some credit to my mother who was a fan of writing shit out by hand (this was in addition to beating the holy crap out of us.. not instead of) when one of us kids screwed up. Rather than write the same line over and over, she had us copy words and their definitions out of the dictionary. It may not have been effective to prevent repeats of whatever crime one of us had committed, but at least it was productive and helped to increase our vocabulary. I got through the M's before I left home but my elder brother was well into the S's before he left home. ::grins::

Do you want her behavior to change? Make sure the punishment is effective and not so over the top that it's all she remembers rather than the reason for the punishment itself.

I am not a fan of writing lines for children or adults because it equates a good thing (writing) with a bad thing (punishment). It's hard enough to get children and adults to read and write.. make it a punishment and it might make someone not want to pick up a book or pen again and that would be a shame.

I have made many a sub write as a form of punishment in the past, but I would never use a website as part of it. One reason is I would have to let them on computer, which would lead to playing, which would lead to more issues. Another reason is I don't think they would get the same feeling as they would if they are actually holding the pen and writing. Anothe is one you brought up......they check the subs work for you? < that screams lazy dom to me. If I expect someone to do something correctly and then have someone else do the work for me what right did I have to ask the sub to do something to begin with? Lazy, it screams, Lazy.

Yeah, my last writing assignment was 90,000 words on respect. It started out at 10,000... and I just couldnt shut up. Finally sunk in at 90,000.

Hand written

Double spaced

No errors

was a long week

Wow that is amazing you joined the site two days ago saying you were looking for a sub that likes to write lines and you found one that quickly? Good for you! Bless your 19 yr old heart.

The last time I had someone write I had them read The Lord Of The Rings and then write me a 20,000 word paper on the elvish language. The person I had do it is a rather quick little whipper napper so when she was done I had her rewrite(as in repeat not edit) the elvish words seven times. When she was done she told me she wasn't going to argue anymore. She could also speak elvish when she was done...which I hadn't counted on.

19? Ah well, that explains the fascination with writing lines.
