OP...I feel like we keep trying to help you, and you do nothing to help yourself. You say "I want xyz and I'm not getting xyz" so we say, oh hey, maybe this would help. You ignore/don't come back to the thread, and post again, asking another Q as to why you aren't getting what you want.
Dude. C'mon.

A symptom of youth. He'll grow out of it.

You might say that you don't want children at this point, but I firmly believe that men can get broody as well as women, and you can only be sure about not wanting children when you're at least thirty. I could be wrong, of course, but that has been my experience.

Obviously people will be all over the map on this, but for me that exactly how it went. Got married at 23, was sure I didn't want kids. Still didn't at 28. Even when I hit 30 I was happy rocking the kid-free lifestyle. Then somewhere around 32 I realized that I really wanted children. Three kids later it's the best change of mind I ever had, but had my relationship been with a much older woman I might not have been able to do so. My guess would be some women avoid relationships with younger men to preclude such things.

The no-kids thing is indeed what kept me from young men when I was in my 30's.

My opinion echoes those that have already been stated.

I too, however, get this sense of frustration since I am 19.  I think the best advice that I can give you is to just bide your time and be patient.  Don't let the frustration get to you.  :)

Yep. Patience is something you're definitely going to need a lot of, unless you're extremely lucky. [:)]

Have you tried the zoo?  I think you'll find what you're looking for in the "cougar" section.   [:D]

Is that where you go looking, Rochsub? (smirking)

Click, why wait almost a month, and then bring this thread back with a snarky comment? Did you feel it contributed in some way?

hangemhigh1953 -> RE: Age matters? (2/2/2012 9:56:38 AM)

Just sent a detailed PM helping TS with his profile.

Of course, in my limited personal experience, looking only online has about a snowball's chance in hell. Once you have a presence in the real life community, even if you don't actively search in the community, the quantity and quality of your potential partners goes way up.

I look at it as, some people cannot help but express their true nature.

I vote we allow it. Granted, the mods generally have a differing opinion on that thought...
