Elephants are amazing. I'm fascinated by their behaviour. Human arrogance and mistreatment of other species..don't get me started :P

Elephants are such beautiful creatures.  And they are much like humans in that, in the wild, their families stay together until the babies are teenagers.  They mourn each others deaths.  The females watch after each others babies.

I have refused to go to a circus since I was a child.  The way these beautiful animals are treated is just too horrendous for words.

You are all quite welcome.

As I'm sure you all have noticed, I am quite fond of all creatures (yes, even the creepy ones). It is a pleasure to find so many on here who feel the same, and get as much enjoyment out of them as I. They do seem to feed my very soul, and for that I am grateful.
