Quite the woman!

Hey, popeye, she owns that many restaurants?  She must be rich.  The government should take away 8 of them and give them to "more deserving" homeless people, so they can "share the wealth" as well.

It only seems fair, yanno. [8D]

Firm

Yes,

A combination of things.  Including the good luck not to get caught
during her "wild youth".  I am sure that being sent to jail or prison
at a young age would have changed this story.

It is great to see that she eventually used her energy and determination
to go in a positive direction.

Or the welfare people those fat bastards. Like she said she didn't want to end up on welfare again!
Sounds like she's done very well for herself! Good for her!

Thanks for posting this Popeye, it's a great story!!

It surely is, isn't it!
She had a lot of adversity to overcome and also that she is a woman in a man's domain, Chef/owner.
Plus all the hell that goes with starting your own business! Tremendous obstacles.
I really like finding stories like this!
