exactly...so most of the "web" stuff was never kept up to date, but there was a lot of activity going on. Every year they have the Mr. and Ms. Rio Grande Leather contests, they had leather/BDSM socials at a Country/Western bar way down Central Avenue....the play parties were usually at private homes, so a little harder to find but once you find folks in the scene, it shouldn't be too hard.
I met a lot of BDSM folks when I was there--I'll try to remember the name of the club--it was a leather bar once a month, I think....

Also...look for the New Mexico Leather Wolves... even if you aren't a gay man, where's the are leathermen, you'll find leather women....and ways into the scene. (it's the old fashioned way.....face to face..)
