Hello My Dominant Sisters,

I am currently working on a project regarding the slave application process. I want to know from My fellow Dominants who believe in the application process what are some of the questions you pose to potentials who wish to serve you.

I don't own any slaves but if I did I would want some solid references from a past owner(s)
Also a background check if things looked like they were headed to serious, a STD blood panel along with a medical history, drug test ( I dont do drugs, dont want a slave who does them either). A check list of limits and a written essay part of What serving means to them..

Hello, my Mistress (MistressMelissa) is at work but she does have a slave application it is located here: http://dshaven.com/slaveapp.html The application is a work in progress as I am always updating it to better fit her needs. There is a second application if a slave can get past the first they will be asked to fill out http://www.dshaven.com/app2.html The second is only given if they can satisfactorily fill out the first. MOst "slaves" do not properly fill out the first one.

My Master had me go through a checklist of what I have done and how did I like it. I chose to go and get tested so my Master would know I didnt have any STD's.

Thank You Sisters,

I currently have an application booklet. Yes a booklet. It has 30 pages, which has been reduced from 42 pages. Some would say that is a bit extreme. yeah it is.

I've used it for about six years now, and I decided it was time to update it. My goal is to make it a unisex application for My Dominant brothers to use as well.

What I enjoy most about presenting the application is the LOOK on their faces, and the intimidation that sets in. I prefer to sit with potentials and examine their facial expressions and observe their body language as they read the questions.

I even had one slave who is a psychiatrist state that it even intimidated him.

What I am currently doing is making sure I did not miss a question, or maybe I didn't think of something to ask. That is why I need the help of My Sisters.

I seen many of the basic questions. I'm looking for something different...

i was once asked a question...that i had not been asked before in a bdsm related interview...

"what makes you a better choice than any of the other applicants?"

i think most Dommes/Doms are looking for more than a simple answer like, i have blah blah years of training, i am beautiful, i can do this lil trick with my tongue...

it's a chance to sell yourself. show that not only are you of worth to Someone else, but that you feel you have self-worth.

and i would love to see Your application booklet. though i am not seeking, it is always wise to stay up on such things.

To me a 30 page application booklet almost seems like an easy, generic way out of getting to know someone without taking them personally under the microscope.

I don't mean to imply that that is what it is in your case, but if I was presented that before a certain measure of trust and interest were built up, I would probably politely get up and walk away. Especially if the questions were of a very personal nature, which they would have to be in order to fill 30 pages.

And before anyone says it, I'm not a fan of any across the board system when dealing with people, whether in HR or in BDSM. If you can't take time to actually get to know me for me, I don't want to get to know you for you.

The first question I always ask someone is.. "If you were an item in an antique shop, what would you be and why? What would your price tag say?"

I ask this to gauge self-esteem. I want to know right up front if I'm dealing with someone who thinks of themselves as a useless toilet or a priceless heirloom. Personally, I like answers that lay somewhere between the two. I want someone who sees their value but isn't a high maintenance princess. The answer to that question will generate other questions or I will stop considering them all together. As Benji said, I like to get to know someone on an individual basis and also a toes to toes situation. Sometimes an answer to a question will generate another, different question .. and reading a laundry list without being able to provide feedback or move into something else via the inspiration of any particular answer just isn't my style.

you are welcome to your opinions. The slave application process is not for every smo joe or butt wipe that seeks My attention. I only present it to those I have had many conversations with and have met a few times. I must state very few have had the honor of receiving an application. Not ONCE have I ever encountered a potential that walked away when presented with an application. Why? I always informed a potential about the application prior to continuing the getting the know you process.

Those who have filled out My application have enjoyed it. I even had one potential who eventually was owned by Me praise Me. he stated that he had been through the application process before, and My application was the first one he had ever encountered that asked deatiled questions. as he put it, the application was well thought out and any potential should be appreciative that I took the time to ask questions that he had never been asked, even after being owned.

I also created the application because there are times questions elude us, and I want to make sure I did not forget to ask something.

And for the record, when I say I want to KNOW My potential, this is one of the ways I do it.

The application also serves as a record. How many of us can remember everything that is told to us? How many Dominants have been told one thing by a potential only later be told something different.

The application also helps Me develop a training program, punishment and rewards system, and even a slave/servitude contract.

Yes some of the questions are personal, but I do not ask questions that would result in Identity theft or anything like that. That is why I have not had anyone walk away from Me.

When a potential is completing an application W/we are in a public yet intimate setting. Being in a neutral setting helps a potential remain relaxed and open.

Once again...only a few have been selected, and that is only because W/we took the time to know each other, and trust and respect was established.

I don't talk to someone one day and then the next day I slap with an application. Nope not My style.

I appreciate you opinion, and I hope I was able to assist you in fully understanding My application.

P.S. The 30 pages are not just questions where you check a box; it also contains My rules, definitions and other information for those who are new to D/s, and it also has those the blank lines for written responses. So it really may be only 15 pages long...lol...still lenthy, BUT I LOVE IT!

Interesting about the market yourself statement. One statement in My application reads.....

You are a salesperson...the product...you. Tell Me what are the benefits and features of the product? I love it because of course the potential has to describe the product, list the benefits and features in two seperate columns. At the end of the application...after answering questions and revieiwng information, they tend to know how they can best serve Me. That's when the verbal salespitch takes place. I give them at least 15 minutes to prepare a oral presentation. From there...I review the application and decide.

   i think You more than covered my question then with the 15 minute oral presentation. i like that idea of being able to...shine or at least try in front of One you are trying to impress.
   to be honest i have never been truly interviewed , at least not for a position as anyone's sub/slave. but i have often sat with One that has held interest in me and gone over limits, likes, dislikes, etc, to see if Wwe were compatible in more than just a conversational way.
    i've enjoyed this post. thanks for something to think about.

Someone can look at my application on my website but if they send it to me via the Internet it gets deleted without my even looking at it because I want to get to know anyone who sends me an application.

I get to know someone, we exchange some information, we meet and talk face-to-face and then I say "You should fill out my application. Here's my address to send it to."

Its a hurdle, I know its a hoop that must be jumped through because I take what I do and what I offer very seriously and I want the other person to take it as seriously.

Having an application and other hoops weeds out most of the wankers and casual players who I am not personally interested in.

I have just a couple checklists,probably 6 pages long.Its pretty basic info on likes and dislikes.I also love the look on their face when I sit and watch them.
Its not just about the answers its about how much they put into answering them.
Someone who just checks yes for instance to everything.....Sends up a flag.

I cant imagine that I can add anything to Your application.

This is just a number of random questions that I've pulled out of my bank. Note: I do not ask these of every subject.   Their behavior and presentation patterns what is thrown at them.

1) "A new person arrives in the local area. Where, what and how could you help them find resources?" (Not only does this check their involvement in their local community, but also their willingness to help others where it doesn't necessarily benefit them.)

2) "What qualities embody a slave?"

3) "As a submissive, what is your purpose and/or value to the community?"

4) "What personally makes you angry about the leather lifestyle or community?"

5) "What is your interest in being MY slave?"

6) "What particular aspect of yourself would you change?"

7) "What was the happiest day of your life?"

8) "Of these four words, (caring, respectful, honest, responsible) which best describes you as a person and why?"

24) "Tell me about a mistake that you've made, what you learned from it, and how you corrected it."

25) "Explain to me what etiquette means to you."

26) "Share with me the way you express your gratitude to someone for a generous gift."

27) "How do you personally express your apology or remorse for a transgression or wrong?"
