Cynical, only somewhat, actual observation...it is better for them to disappear from online than from actuality.

Shrugging.

There are definitely Doms who dont do the whole poofing thing. There are some who actually take the time to get to know the person, as they dont want some stranger moving into their homes Im sure. but, there are some decent ones out there, but weeding through the trash on the other side to find the diamond youre seeking may be, at most times, tiresome. dont give up!

I had practically the same thing happen. Only my so called Dom text me and said he decided this was a bad idea and not to text him again. Im hurt and question how I let myself trust this person. Are all Doms like this?

I have been talking to a guy I met online for over a month now, on phone and by email. Everything was going great I thought, but suddenly friday night he disapeared and I can't figure out why.

He won't return any text message, email....didn't answer the phone when I called.

I guess it is time to move on, but I'd appreciate any insight.

This will happen endlessly online. Online dating needs a thick skin.

You really need to fight the urge to be sub to a compatible guy you've only met online, as it is easy to form a miraculous apparition of The Perfect Domly Man™ and it's much harder to follow up on it. Also, on Collarme and other websites, the general approach of many men is "Own first, ask questions later," which means claiming as many s-types as they can ( don't want the competition to steal the right one up first, now, does he? ), then dropping the less desirable ones like a hot potato once they begin to focus in on one.

It's been said elsewhere on here, but, take your time, and ideally, focus as much on real-time interaction as possible.
