And it was so friggin funny.  Even had puppet sex!  Woohoo.  I need a life.

That's OK, I'm juvenile too! I loved that movie.

It's all about the headstand-puppet-a$$sex and "Maaatt Daaaamon". ;)

I love that movie.  It's nice to see a film that's not content to just make fun of one side of an issue, but to assail everyone sorta tangentially involved as well.

Besides, without that movie, I couldn't very well have the pleasure of addressing my roommate as "Hawns Bwix," nor the simple joys of the death of a puppet version of Sean Penn.

That, and the puppet sex scene was likely the hottest thing to come out of hollywood in a long time.

Sadly the intelligent cynicism of South Park didn't seem to carry over to the movie.  It was just too over the top for me.  It was like the crudity of South Park without the cleverness.

Trey Parker & Matt Stone are known for attacking all sides of an issue without holding anything sacred. I love them for that. I downloaded the Team America soundtrack after watching it, and still use " Matt Daaaaaaamon " as a curse word at work.

i agree that it lacked some of the cleverness of south park.

but i still want to marry kim jong-il and have his pronunciation-challenged children.

To me, it hit more like they where trying to make a satire of crappy action flicks rather than use the cynism of south park. I want to see the uncensored version though.

America, Fuck Yeah! Comin around to save the motherfuckin day yeah!
