Lol. like most, I was surprised that you think 45k is "poor." It's obviously not rich, but it's not povert (unless you live in Southern California or N.Y., New York. But to be honest, a lot of self-perceived poverty comes from a) bad expectations management, and b) bad money management. People who have discipline in spending and diligence in saving seldom feel truly impoverished for very long.

Since money isn't that important to me, as long as there's enough to pay the bills, and I'd prefer to keep working anyhow, I'd prefer the first. I'd rather have a healthy Master in my life.

So much false idealism in this thread... Can we all just admit, as a group, all at once so no one feels exposed, that we like sexy rich people? Like, a lot? Because I just want to go on record as saying I fucking love money and attractive sexual partners. Those are two things which are well within my top 10 favorite things on earth. We can all go on about how we want "brains" or "compatibility" or my personal favorite "healthy" partners and all those things are true in varying degrees, as are a million other factors of attraction, but we also want comfort and something highly fuckable to share it with. Bury that fact under however many tons of sophistry you like, but that's the truth of it. For my part, I'm not a sub but in the interest of practicing what I preach; if I'm not allowed to force them to lose weight as part of training, I'll take the slim poor sub over the fat rich sub. I'm the guy that shoots everyone down when they insist "no man wants a woman that thin" as they look at runway models, after all. A balance would be nice, but if we have to sit on one end of the bell curve or the other I'll take that one.

I've been through my own financial tough times and that's nothing I want to ever go through again. But rich? I'm sure I've made a joke or two in my life about it, but in all seriousness, rich is not on my list of likes. It's not important. At all. And...at the risk of sounding like an idiot, it's almost a turn-off.

What would matter most to me is the chemistry between my Master and I. It doesnt matter to me how wealthy, how in shape(though I do want my Master healthy), or even what age they are. What I think is important is mutual interests, chemistry, and honesty.

This is, to me, a fascinating question. Quite predictably all the answers will say "health". The actual facts though as identified by both common sense and scientific study say "wealth" (for females selecting males). So the fascinating part to me is that this is one of those places where our society hides the actual facts from us.

I suppose I do want "comfort", or at least I want discomfort that's deliberately imposed by a sadist rather than a natural result of poverty, but I don't necessarily want or need actual wealth. I'm happy enough to fly economy class and drink the blended stuff instead of single malt. As for sexiness, it comes much more from personality than from physique as far as I'm concerned. So, although I'm a male submissive and the OP wasn't intended for me, I'd very much prefer a smart, sane, genuinely dominant woman with some extra kilograms and a chronic shortage of filthy lucre to a skinny but vacuous princess type who had more money than she knew what to do with.
