I don't think I realized how much my uterus meant to me, until it started fucking up my life.

The first 3 months of this year were an intense blur of extreme pain and fatigue. I did my homework regarding my options, and I realized that unless there was truly no other option I did not want a hysterectomy. While my hormones, and my uterus, and my ovaries love to gang up on me and make me miserable. They are a part of me.

I got really lucky and 3 month cycle low hormone pills are working so far.

Diagnostic laproscopy would be the next step for me, and even that scares me a bit.

I wish you luck, and good uterine health.

Prometrium, a natural progesterone, worked for me for many years.

Good uterine health for all!

The doctor at Brigham & Women's said I am a good candidate for the Focused Ultrasound study. Now people in Radiology, who are on vacation, need to concur and I need to pass a Symptom Severity Test and then I will be accepted into the study and should have the procedure next month or October.

Wish me luck!
