I am relative newbie to the scene... it seems there is lots of overlapping terminology. Can anybody help give "official" definitions or at least practical distinctions: Resistance play Force play Primal play Combative erotics (erotic combat) Wrestling Struggle play Play rape I am longtime devotee of what I always just called wrestling. It seems that term is a turn-off for some, who do like whatever it is that they have in mind by some of the other terms. To me they seem very similar. Terms and boundaries seem quite important, but I am not sure I am getting it?

My general quickie definitions: Resistance play- not always full out fighting, could also include things like interrogation scenes or resisting giving something up Force play- overall term for "forcing" someone to do something they will try to avoid doing Primal play- usually involves a more energy based animalistic edge to it for the purpose of or just happening to bring out a very non-thinking just reacting edge Combative erotics (erotic combat)- wrestling with sexual overtones Wrestling- self explanatory to me Struggle play- similar to resistance but not as serious Play rape- specific type of force play quote: I am longtime devotee of what I always just called wrestling. I posted this to a thread elsewhere just to give someone the gist of it quote: I've met a few young ladys into this, it can get quite 'intense' on occassion, but rather enjoyable. "You want me to take you, but I want you to try and stop me... It ain't going to work, but try!" They get a wicked little glint in their eye and fight like hell, but of course they don't win. For some it reinforces a feeling of helplessness and vulnerability that they enjoy with someone they trust as compleatly as their master. Primal play for me is often not even connected to my sexuality. I have a spiritual connection to a species of sabretooth and often take on animalistic behaviours and such usually without my control. It is, however, usually enhanced during S&M and orgasm, I guess due to the intensity of the feelings.
