Inspired by an exchange with ResidentSadist, I thought it might be cool to have a thread for experienced anal sex folks - we get lots of "first timer" threads, and they're totally welcome, too, but here's a place to talk about it for "anal sex connosieurs." :p

What techniques do you like, or recommend against?
Do you combine it with other activities, or use different objects, or your natural "built-ins?" :p
Lube or no lube? If you're in the no-lube camp, how did you decide to go that way, or did you?
Is force annnd/or pain a part of it for you, or do you not feel any pain at all?
Are you mostly drive by the "taboo" element or just because it's awesome? :p

I haven't done it in awhile. For me I have to lube, medical issue, and I find baby oil lotion works great for that. Though if your using condoms you'd want to use something else. I don't like being bent over to do it. I prefer to be laying either on my side or belly, and guiding it in myself. I DO NOT like pain with it. If it hurts I can't do it. Usually if it hurts on entry and I pull out and wait for the spasm to go away I can continue, but I can't leave them in and work through the pain. Once I'm warmed up they may pound as much as they like, unless they are rather well endowed then it depends.

Now for the lube/no lube, well that depends... If it is like a glass plug then no cause damn if it doesn't get too slippery for me, but for the attached item that depends on the person I guess..
If I'm turned on then no, it doesn't hurt.. if it's just a stick and go then a little pain but nothing major..

Lube + foreplay = no pain for me.

What's the perfect vibrator to use for the vagina or clit during anal sex? I can't get a good angle with my Eroscillator when in my preferred belly down position.

Latex Condoms will break if used with any sort of Oil,
use some Water based Lube, or change the material of the Condoms,

I'm firmly in the take-it-slow/plenty of lube camp, although masochistic bottoms are often jaundiced on the idea - I love a ruined asshole as much as the next guy, but I need sex like every day, and I don't want to wait around a month for it to heal up.

Everybody is different of course, but I believe in breaking it in slowly, it is a bit more tender than other orifices, so I tend to be more careful initially - it's a good thing!

J-lube is pretty good stuff, and you can mix it pretty heavy  (it takes awhile though).
