There doesn't seem to be a big community for this stuff in our area, we are smack in the middel of the bible belt. How can one go about getting more locals involved without being ousted by people bc of our lifestyle? Any ideas?

There are people and some groups in SC. You can also travel to conventions and such. When I've been in smaller town I just don't shove it in people's faces. I never hidden who am or what I like but I'm also respectful of others. I think consent means if they didn't consent to my "show" and I put one on anyway then I'm in the wrong. That being said, people around me knew I was good with rope and was the got to person if one wanted a spanking even though I grew up in a smallish town in the deep south.

Firstly, what type of involvement do you want from your local community? Are you wishing to offer them a place to meet up and discuss the lifestyle? Are you looking to perhaps play with others? Perhaps there are already some well established lifestyle community, and you haven't found it yet. Take a look here and see if you can participate in any of these.

I did a search for your town and found events in Spartanburg and Greenville, not terribly convenient, but... https://fetlife.com/search?q=Gaffney I went to a munch last week that was created by someone who started a Fet group saying it was for people in our area, posting about it on other groups, keeping the convo going until there was enough interest to hold a munch, getting a private room at a Pizzaria Unos on a Sunday afternoon, and holding the munch. I can ask her what she told Unos if you like, but I'm sure it was something vanilla. She works nights and couldn't attend the other local groups, so started her own.

Sadly I such a sugar addict that "eating it" is what popped in my head first. But next time I'm needing some internet research you're hired! A whole freaking case on DD will be on the way. Although I'm not sure why you don't prefer the nasty greasy sugary fresh local donuts. Oh and to the OP, the point I was making was look at what others are searching for and keep repeating those searches every so often because the results will change. (there, I'm officially still on topic)

I was referring to finding a way to get this known to more people around here. I know there is bound to be (Bound, hehehe) more people around here with this lifestyle, that just don't know there are ways to find others like themselves.

You know that music CD's hanging off the nipples bit? If you can do that with a couple of regular sized donuts.. Unfortunately, I do not have much to add on-topic ::hangs head in shame:: But yanno, as odd as it may be, most of the lifestyle people I've met and know IRL came from perfectly vanilla settings where I was not looking for them or expecting them, not from going to events or searching for them online. Maybe when you talk to people, you can drop a few very carefully subtle hints and see if anyone picks up on them? Maybe watch others a little closer, too, see if maybe they are doing just that, hoping you might pick up on them?

Random Thought: Make Blank Business cards with a QR-Code that aims to the site; Hang out at Spencer's Gifts, and any apparel that I see with handcuffs on them hide one of the cards in the pocket. Also go to the local adult store and hide cards in those boxes too. Haha, Chris for the win.
