For the times that you have a cold or allergies and the pharmacy is closed.

I will point out that this means that you are obtaining one controlled substance in order to make a second controlled substance. Although. . . the crank makers are doing the same thing.

"Honey, I am heading down to the bar by the river."

"Whatever are you going to that for?"

"I feel a head cold coming on."

That's so awesome. I would never have believed anyone would even try to turn meth back into its starting agent.

Speaking of Sudafed, did you know you can't buy more than one box at a time? The stepson has a cold and we thought we'd pick him up some decongestant. But The Man takes Claritin-D for his allergies. He bought himself a box of Claritin D and then remembered he wanted Sudafed for his son. No can do.

Its OTC in Canada, no restrictions.. it looks like its OTC in the UK & Australia too..

Here i can get 2 boxes/month at walmart 30mg/24 tablets/box, have to show id and they punch the info into the computer.. totally sucks.. lucky for me my allergies are not as bad as they used to be..

I saw ads for Compound W for skin tags and asked the pharmacy if they carried it.. apparently its only available in Canada.. The pharmasist told me that the govt doesnt think Americans are smart enough to tell the difference between skin tags and moles so its not allowed to be sold in the US..

That's too bad about the skin tag remover tj - I got some over the holidays and it worked just peachy. Much better than going thru a needle and a scalpel!

I think we (Australia) only have Phenylephrine based cold & flu medication. Because the "ice problem" only hit us in the last 5 years badly, I think they essentially outlawed pseudoephedrine. As a consequence, so I hear, meth and speed are both very impure and cut with various crap.

While not recommended, meth and dex are effective decongestants in themselves, as well as pretty decent antiasthma drugs. Going back to the precursor will probably improve efficacy, and certainly reduce some of the side effects (while increasing others). However, the main problem is that street drugs have a tendency to contain impurities.

Ironically, under Norwegian law, I can legally buy and possess meth in small quantities, but reverting it to the precursor would be a felony crime. I can also get it in minutes, whereas I would need hours to days to obtain Sudafed, despite having a doctor that knows I have zero propensity for abuse and no reservations about Rx'ing the most restricted drugs we have.

Health,
al-Aswad.

I have to admit I have no idea what is available here.....I haven't needed anything like that, except a chest decongestant last winter or the year before..., in years. And that, I just got a generic store brand. It worked and the remains are still in the cabinet.
