This does conclusively prove that what passes for a "study" these days crosses a very low bar.

Really? Wow thanks, I was planning the rest of my year based on the findings now I can stop.

I don't think anyone is disputing that it's a lamer. It's just illustrating the obvious.

Oh and speaking of lowering the bar Muse, welcome back, long time no see.

Sure I'll find detailed account ... On the web ... of something that was old news before the web. Right after you do something for me. Show me a police blotter item on any time that Barack Obama was pulled over by the police. THAT I know happened in the Internet Era and good luck finding it. I couldn't locate anything but people mentioning it back in 08.

I am sure there are articles from way back then but you would likely have to go right to the newspapers and search their archives.. few people would go to the trouble.. I dont know if Obama has ever been pulled over or not, he seems very calculated so probably has been very careful about everything he has done..

He has and I know cause it sort of matches a Gore staffer that I know... the difference being the Gore Staffer had his encounter a few days after the election and GOT Lucky small paper, nice judge. Obama got the same treatment in Cambridge and well he was a youngish black man. I was told that his "questioning" still made it to the police blotter. Never really found anything on the web and didn't care to look past there.

No, it's illustrating the assumed.

DWB (Driving While Black)?

yeah, that crossed my mind.. not much a youngish black guy can do about that one.. other than hire a white dude to drive him around..

Probably for being a black guy riding in a beamer near harvard yard. They may call it People's Republic Of Cambridge. But I can attested FIRST HAND that the cops wouldn't give you that impression.
They've been known for some crazy fucking judgement calls in their day.

Mediator and moderator data demonstrated that upper-class individuals’ unethical tendencies are accounted for, in part, by their more favorable attitudes toward greed.

I used to work for a guy who had his butler lie to his dry cleaner to save money [8|]

Part of my job was to arrange for various contractors to come service his yacht...it was quite comical the number who refused to work for him.

Oh, after switching dry cleaners and subsequently wanted to go back to that dry cleaner and wanted me to lie about the butler. Only job I've ever walked out on. I'd watched a butler and two yacht captains walk out during my two month tenure.

personally, imo, everyone is greedy,.. what it comes down to is the level of it, how much of ones soul you are prepared to surrender...
to some it might be ok to not tell walmart that their scanner check-out undercharged them for something but they would tell the girl at the corner store if she undercharged them, for others anything for a couple of bucks..

I think greed is also much more prevalent in the US,.. now of course that is just my biased opinion from becoming aware of horrible examples of corruption in all levels of govt.. and, imo, when common folk see their elected politicians and appointed govt officials, cops, etc doing "it", they become disillusioned and perhaps are more apt to feel its ok for them too.. jmo, of course..

Sounds about right. A few people pointed that out after the Limeyland riots last year. It's not like the looting was any less defensible than the parliamentary tax fiddles there was the fuss over before the last election, after all.
