Through the years I have struggled
with this thing called love
Is it a blessing or curse?
Is it a gift from above?
It always starts out fresh,
and the feelings we adore,
But in time it always fades,
and you walk out through my door.
What is it dear that i do,
that makes you stray away
everytime I love a girl
she eventually fades away.
I love you whole,
I love the thought
of life with you my dear,
What is it that My hands wrought
that always brings a tear.
I pray my God that you bring to me,
a love that cant be bought,
And let me know,
just what it is,
that my hands have wrought.
