GddssBella -> RE: Introducing - Profile Pic or no? (6/7/2006 6:30:25 AM)

G'morning all: CL, as for outing at work, srb made two excellent points. There's also the general search engines that can turn up your handle. I'd keep too much personal information out of the profile, ie: real name, to reduce the possibilities. The criteria you select for availability will also affect how you're found. My own personal settings are for pictures only. It reduces the sheer volume of what is displayed. My advice, already echoed, is keep it tasteful, vanilla. A good rule of thumb? A picture you wouldn't mind your family (if they're not kink friendly/interested) or your supervisor seeing. I'll go a step further and say that you should keep the content somewhat bland as well. Too many of the trolls will just skim the interests or look for keywords in order to spam you. Your best friends at that point are our buddies block and delete. Welcome to the forums and to the site. Stay safe, play nice, & share your toys w/ others... [:D] Bella
