The question is simple. In your opinion what is the difference between a sub and a slave

Is it bitchy if I think punctuation is simple?

Yes. [:D]

JeffBC -> RE: Sub v slave (4/3/2012 8:48:07 AM)

@OP:
I know you said "in your own opinion". You'd think I would have such an opinion. But the problem is that the words truly are undefined. It is therefor axiomatic that any definition I apply is wrong... assuming we're discussing interpersonal communication and not philosophy. If this is a philosophy discussion than every definition I apply is correct. Both are pointless wastes of time. My "opinion" is that I don't like to be wrong and I don't like to waste my time.

MrBukani -> RE: Sub v slave (4/3/2012 10:56:15 AM)

Since nobody wants to agree.
I like the word sexslave.
But bdsm is more then sex
Off course?
Maybe mental 24/7 bondage hmmm.
No limit slavery.
hmm...

LaTigresse -> RE: Sub v slave (4/3/2012 11:05:31 AM)

I think, perhaps, a nice place to visit but not any place I want to live.

I will keep my little hilltop farm for now.

Yes we do. I've got two of them.

MrBukani -> RE: Sub v slave (4/3/2012 11:07:50 AM)

I dont think western civilisation suits us for future reference.
It should be self-centered civilisation.
That would describe us better.

The West is so racial IMHO.

Far too racially motivated in my opinion. But your west seems to be far too sexist.

We call submarines, subs.

In CT and MA, sub sandwiches are called "grinders", in ME they're called "Italians". So, I don't refer to the sandwiches as "subs".

So what do you call it when you eat an Italian?....not the sub :)

LPslittleclip -> RE: Sub v slave (4/3/2012 4:35:17 PM)

everyone will have a diffrent view on what the diffrence is
for me a submissive is someone who is still learning and may have limits
as a slave they would be owned and have no limits that their owner does not impose

More importantly, who would win in a jello wrestling competition?!

There are no losers in jello wrestling competitions. [:D]

tsatske -> RE: Sub v slave (4/3/2012 10:04:16 PM)

I've never been to a Jello wrestling. Somehow I did know it was in kiddo pools, but I thought there was more jello, and I didn't view it as being so granual. I want the pool to be at least half way full of a solid jello, i think.
