William Dear Claims To Have Proof O.J. Didn't Do It...Which Is Adorable. Argues "Juice's" Son is "The Real Killer" I always found the case interesting. F. Lee Bailey published a paper a few years ago outlining how Simpson could not have done it. I think Simpson killed them but I had not heard about this author or his ideas. This is a definite must rad for me. Thanks for the link.

I would not say any of this without a great deal of backup," Dear said. Dear also contended that he has managed to convince others that his theory has merit. "I recently did a speech in front of 533 law enforcement investigators and prosecutors," he said. "The first statement I made was 'How many of you believe O.J. was guilty?' and everyone raised their hand. When [my speech] was over, I asked the same thing and only three people voted guilty. So when you get law enforcement and all these people to take that position, that's a pretty strong position." Is there actually such a thing as the Police Officer Hall of Fame and can PIs be inducted into it? And at this moment we only have his word that he convinced 530 "law enforcement officials" that OJ was innocent. And how much of that is the phenomena of pleasing the speaker? (Provided it happened at all... .)

So instead of providing all this "evidence" to the appropriate authorities, this guy writes a book. There is no statute of limitations on murder. OJ may have been found not guilty (which isn't the same as "innocent") of the murders, but he could still be charged as an accessory (which according to this guy he was), and the son could be charged with murder. Murder isn't something that prosecutors tend to just "let go" when they don't get the conviction they wanted. This was high profile, if there is any truth to what this Dear guy says, or possibility of it, they would want to prosecute.

I don't do "Huffington" anymore. It wasn't enough to auto play one video on each of the stories, they now play two at the same time. I told them of the problem. The problem is still there. I am still gone. Suffice to say, I probably should not have posted this.

Just my .05 here....watching the train wreck on the news, one thought kept running thru my head. And that was that if he didn't do it, he knew who did. Yeah, the "author" needs to go to the cops, but I guess he figured it'd pay more to write the book.
