That guy has said quite a few things that should have gotten him disciplined over the years but for some reason never was. Outrage by the general public was never enough.......cons often seem to enjoy when they outrage people...... Guess this time......embarrassment of the right.......was the straw the broke the camel`s back. Did rush really fuck things up that bad for media versions of the WBC...or has the world just gotten a whole lot smaller...the ugliness to big to hide anymore...... because of the social media? My guess is the latter. Hey rich.....did you ever consider that the "int-er-netz" and social networking would be so detrimental to your party and your party`s dirty tactics? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Little FYI for normal folks,rightist love and clamor for this sewage.They have their very own network dedicated to serving up the bloody red meat.They even brag about the high ratings.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's probably the latter as well - they've gone to great lengths to develop a captive audience, but between them and total control of the media lies and inconvenient thing called the First amendment and the free market of public opinion. There remains a significant technical question w/regards to any potential regulation of the internet w/regards to protecting free speech while also protecting intellectual property, although I don't want to threadjack this into that debate, it's the main reason I'm skeptical of net neutrality critics, i.e., the free speech issue. I'm all for protecting intellectual property to the extent it's possible without curbing the significant advance in creating this highly democratic form of mass communication/consensus formation, which I think are at least the equal of, if not far more significant than it's potential commercial applications.

Meh, (will leave it at this to avoid hijacking the thread), My observation/experience is that folks who try to protect intellectual property from individual use end up costing themselves money coming and going. A lot of folks who get a "free sample," will later buy, and the folks who are not going to later buy won't do so if the "free sample," isn't available... Remember what happened to Madonna when she went after piracy of her songs? Cost her millions of dollars in sales, so I doubt she was happy with the result.

Good points. There was a time,when jerkoffs like G Gordon Liddy and rush could say ANYTHING on AM talk radio....and did........because no one cared about or listened to AM talk radio. I remember when rush started out and was still funny.He`s become very bitter and angry over the years.....for some reason. His 1st advertisers were b-grade at best.Vocabulary learning tapes and Snapple softdrinks.Having the ad asking 4 times an hour if you`ve been embarrassed by using the wrong words.....got really old fast. But for better or for worse.....the world`s gotten way smaller by the netz and the power of public opinion has gotten way bigger. I couldn`t be happier.The more sunlight the better....the more information the better.....the more democracy the better. There will still be a dark under-belly to the internet,like braibart and his ilk.......but with it.....a way for the formerly powerless to combat it.

You're almost there, Owner59. It's almost like watching someone learning to read, sounding out a big word correctly, but not recognizing the word they have said. Here's a hint. What Orwell wrote about in 1984 really has nothing to do with any sort of divide within our party politics. Orwell illustrated this by setting his nightmare society within a perversion of the system he believed in. Authoritarianism, and the regimentation of thought, are the enemy, no matter what quarter they approach from.

One of the most brutal examples of this arrogance and abuse was when bush was really really fucking up,beyond FUBAR...... anything he touched and when someone normal would ask him about it.....bush would say something putrid like "we`ll have to wait and see what history says about my administration....." Basically saying he didn`t give a fuck what people thought about him,now or later. Little fuck that bush......piece of crap is still hiding, I see.

Awesome vid. Funny how the Republicans (every single one of them) can do nothing but lie about Obama's record instead of presenting ideas of their own. I'm not happy with Obama but he has accomplished some of the things he promised us in his campaign.
