well the UM is clear of the jaundice she goes for a second follow up doc appointment release from hospital thingy thursday. She also has gained her weight back she is at 8+ lbs now.

She sleeps like an angel. i get 5 hr rest breaks to do what i have to between feedings because thats how long she naps.

other than that life is great.

so whats up in everyone elses neck of the woods and by the way to day is the day that the UM was supposto come LOL.

I am glad to read that things are going well for you and yours.

Not a lot different here. Had to buy a new lawn tractor (ouch) but the 3 acres no longer looks like a cow pasture.

After eleven years at the same job I am seriously looking for something else. I have a 3rd interview this afternoon for a position that sounds promising but we will see. I am sure the job is mine if I want it but not sure what they are going to offer. It's going to have to be better than what I've got now and that isn't exactly easy to accomplish in many ways.

Motocross has officially begun but weather keeps causing the local races to be canceled.

I've been riding more, as weather and time allows. The brat is still a brat but the old man has earned his retirement.

Generic Dude's newest business venture is going like gangbusters which makes things a lot more cheerful around the hacienda.

I turned 50. How the fuck did that happen?!?!?

Had the first conversation with my mother in 3 years......2 long hours of blah blah blah on the phone.

The flower gardens at the farm are gorgeous but I am still unsure of the future of apples this fall. They bloomed too early and we had 3 nights below 30F. Bad. Many applesauce addicts in my life are anxiously awaiting the results.

It's MAY?

Well... I turned 49 in April, and only worked 11 hours on my birthday, so yay. The first tax season at the new place went really, really well. If I can replicate that---with the help of my team of Linda (former owner) and my mom, I will be a very contented little CPA. Now the rest of the year looms and I want a holiday! I really only worked 70 hour weeks, it's not like I killed myself, but I am just not used to it, and physically I am wiped out. I loved every minute, though. I started and ended each day with a smile and looked forward to going to the office every day. How many people can say that?

Google talk, I am loving it very much indeed. [;)]

My parents are going to be gone for three weeks, then I am joining them in florida, we're doing a beach weekend in Ft Lauderdale in celebration of their 50th anniversary. I am really looking forward to it, I love the beach in that area. I am waffling over going to tanning so I can have my papery pallor enhanced a little so I don't burn to a crisp. I am also gearing up to start retooling my body. You may burn candles, offer bribes to the spirit world, or sacrifice a small goat on my behalf should you be so inclined.

Hope all is well out in your various worlds!

I heard from my sister the other day for the first time in months and now, Friday, we are going for pedicures together. I've never ever had one before in my entire life and neither has she, so this is going to be soooo nice. Everyone says they're absolutely wonderful so I'm looking forward to being pampered.

I'm getting ready for my annual apartment inspection on Tuesday, so it's a good thing I love to clean. lol My place is pretty much always clean but, when it comes to inspection time, I get pretty obsessive about it.

The search goes on for a submissive. Just when I thought things were dying down to hopeless, I got a whole wad of new correspondences on both here and Fet. Go figure, but I'm NOT complaining. [;)]

EmeraldsPheonix - Congratulations on having a baby who sleeps! My daughter was born an insomniac. She is 18 now and still seldom sleeps more than 4 hours a day.

LaTigresse - Best of luck & I hope they offer you what you want.

LadyHibiscus - Spending time at the beach sounds wonderful to me and I know you will enjoy it!

NicebutMeanGirl - I think you and your sister will enjoy your first pedicure, especially if they have good massage chairs. There is nothing better than getting your back massaged while your feet are being pampered at the same time!

welcome to CM MadameM4u and thanks the Um right now just got fed and is fighting the hiccups but other than that is happy and content after eatting a 3 oz bottle so that mommy can go to work on school stuffs while she waits on time for an appointment then to work on tat stuffs.

I just took My state board exams and passed!!! Yay Me. Coco is doing great. She is growing fast. My slave is fitting in wonderfully. Training has been fun.

I am getting more involved in our local scene community and LOVING IT IMMENSELY
I am (we are) also trying a "new thing". Mr and I after many years of being right on the edge of where we wanted to be are finally taking the plunge and we did a sort of renegotiation thing. Not because anything was wrong, but more because everything was just right and it was time to step it up a bit.
I now am the proud wearer of a permament sterling silver collar that is perfectly acceptable to wear out in public OOOHHH SHINEY!

Vanilla stuff is moving slowly. My business is kind of getting off the ground but I feel like it's a daily struggle. I will keep at it and at it until things get to where they need to be. The non profit side of things is still in the research stage and is kind of at a stalemate until we get the property stage going at a good pace.

My oldest just moved out of the house this week (here gathering clothes as I type) and I am super excited to see that birdy falling out of the nest...hoping beyond hope he doesn't bump his head on the way down LOL
OH and I get to take over his room and turn it into a dungeon WOOT! (garage room, already soundproofed)

I am very much enjoying spring in Massachusetts after 7 years in South Florida where the seasons consist of Hot and Not As Hot. I've been doing a lot of gardening at Mom's and have a little kale and herb container garden at my place.

I've done the tanning thing pre two Florida trips and am glad I did, even though the last time I mostly stayed under the canopy so probably didn't need it.

If you go a little further south you'll hit the nude beach at Haulover Park. The fun/kinky/swinger/partiers hang out midway between the lifeguard stands.

Hi everyone!

My academic semester ended Monday. So May has started with immense laziness other than work, where I was also lazy by default (as students leave, there's less and less to actually do at the store...). I have half a week before my 21st birthday and summer classes start. Hopefully I'll use that time cleaning, making art, and setting goals instead of online. I think I'm going to try to have a novel draft finished by June.

I'm currently just having martial arts withdrawal. I need to go to taekwondo club the day it starts back up next week.

May's looking doable all things considered.

Kalik, i used to travel to the Sunny Isles area (187th St) and drove by Haulover a lot. Nude beach = oddball sunburn! One day, maybe. I am into beachcombing, not sunning.

sounds like fun. I'm busy with many life things mainly the UM getting her food fixed because she is having gas difficulties causing major spitup so tomorrow i have to go in and have her formula switched from simulac advanced to the sensitive for fussiness and gas and see what that does.

on another hand i have less than 48 hrs to accomplish hella school work and budget stuffs.

off i go busy day left to do.

EP, hooray for your thriving little one :-) TNDK, congrats on passing the board exams!! Welcome, MadameM4U and Ilayda, thanks for joining us! Happy May and approaching Mother's Day to everyone, including all moms (animals count as kids!) and mom-types.

My fiddle-player and I inherited a cello player and her multi-instrumentalist husband. So now we have a 4-piece all-string band, including our token male! They're both versatile and good arrangers; delightful folks all the way around.

Sold the motorcycle, and I'm pretty sure that will be the last one. Funny, I didn't think too much about mortality and my role in it when I was younger. These days I'm reminded all too often, and don't want to blatantly contribute to my own demise. So after 36 years of my various motorcycles, life has literally cycled into other endeavors...aka my red beach cruiser! Bicycles are fun, green and good exercise!

I did keep all the bike leathers, though. One never knows when a pair of black leather chaps will come in handy ;-)

I just finished up an afghan for my aunt in Arkansas and Mom is leaving to go see them today so I got the place all to myself for the weekend.

I had my nerves burned yesterday on my right side. Repeat for the left side on the 17th. I got a big bandage on my lower back/bum area.

EP, wash that afghan in cold water and lay flat to dry. That's the directions I have from the yarn supplier.

I started another afghan for myself and a shawl. I have to keep myself busy.

My p-doc has me started on Artane for the shakes that I get from my Geodon. It is working so far as long as I take 2 pills a day.

Lizard and I cancelled our trip to Dallas next month and instead are going to another anime con in Austin. Its cheaper and next to a mall...SHOPPING SPREE!!!
