Liberty Mutual spent $4.5 million to renovate a 1,335 square foot executive suite that was, in all likelihood, working just fine a month before. It breaks down to $3,370 per square foot. Put another way, the renovation cost is equal to what a $100,000-a-year worker makes over the course of his or he...

Yeah, TOO MANY people got foodstamps last month... and these companies are struggling so much they can barely afford to spruce up the ole cube.

And THIS folks is a mutual corporation. So if you're fucking stupid enough to own stock, or even have a policy with these assholes, then it REALLY IS you're money they just pissed away.
That money, spent ONLY here in Massachusetts could come GODDAMNED CLOSE to solving hunger in Massachusetts for whole year.

It's rampant. Colleges are always complaining there's no money. But they can always find money to build new buildings, perpetually.

Did you see the peice about how illegals are getting 4.5 billion in tax refunds because of a loophole in the IRS laws? And how a state's Attorney General constantly complains to the IRS and gets NO reply to his inquiry? Most of this 4.5 billion is sent back to Mexico to their families. The money doesn't even do us any good or provide us or them any jobs.
Illegals don't have social security numbers to apply for refunds, but due to an IRS ruling, they can use a surname and apply. They use the names of children, relatives, etc IN MEXICO and get refunds like 12,000!!!

And about the buildings with tens of thousands of square feet the Government rents that have not been used for YEARS! They showed a building in a top rent district of Washington DC that is, and has been vacant for YEARS! (I would imagine some powerful legislators are getting rent from these leases.)
