I see a lot of photos of people behind the wheel. I don't understand this. You can't tell if it's a really nice car or not, and most people aren't really flattered by an upward angle.

Why do people post these pics?

maybe it's a comfortable space for them, their space. or maybe they're lazy and don't have what they think is a better picture.

Men think women will like a guy driving a nice car. Doesn't matter if you can see the car in the pic or not. They just think you'll assume it's a nice one and so that must mean he's hot lol.

When I see a guy in a profile behind the seat of a car, I think man going through midlife crisis.

i thought it might be to show off somehow, but OP said couldn't see the make. but many people might see it as a power position. i know i feel that power when i'm in a fast car. hey, maybe i should add a nostalgia pic (to my profile) of me proudly standing by my 280z with both doors open.

If that's it, that's incredibly naive. "Nice" or "average"? It also isn't very flattering if you can tell it's a minivan or a pickup.

I just noticed while looking through your very nude photos... that you also have a photo in a car. You may not be driving, but you are in a car. Is there any particular reason you posted that photo?

I have a photo of myself behind the wheel. I was bored in traffic. It's a good photo. Why not post it?

I knew what you meant.........just had to give you shit about it.

The behind the wheel photos don't really give me the mid life crisis thought as you can rarely actually see what it is they are driving. The photos that crack me up....pictures of them standing next to, or in front of, a car/motorcycle/whatever. Ususally arms crossed or leaning against and declaring ownership (or both), and nearly always in really lame and outdated styled sunglasses. The sunglasses give me an eye roll every time. The arms crossed ones really crack me up as it's obvious they are doing so to make their muscles look more impressive. And hide the belly.
