I am a sucker for those estee lauder holiday boxes... and I have NOT indulged in the Naked2 palette because I was being all self controlled.

Does nail polish count? I am all about the mani/pedi. GLITTER is vital.

Mac, Mac has me on the end of a leash that I can't see. Mac and the sharpie company....yes, I draw on myself with markers (I'm crazy like that) I am perpetually stuck somewhere between goth, glam, and metal.

Oh...and nail polish should count Hibi. The makeup box and nail polish box are both actually tackle boxes. I just got a new makeup box/tackle box yesterday infact. You should have seen the look on the livein's face when I told him to help sort the stuff [:D]

I'm a girly girl! I have fun with make up, clothes, hair, nails, you name it. I've worked so hard to get my body in the shape it's in, now I get to decorate it. [:D]

I was a bit of a late comer to wearing makeup. I only really started wearing it in the last 7-8 months.

My favourites brands are Bare Minerals, Tarte and Urban Decay. They are all cruelty free and try to use the least nasty ingredients as possible.

For work, I only wear foundation & mascara. When I go out I wear everything... I'm turning into 1 of those women who can't leave the house without their 'face' on!

I wear some sort of makeup any time I leave the farm and sunscreen nearly every single day......unless I am staying home, inside and it is cloudy/stormy. It's just part of the 'start the day' routine. One I am getting ready to do in a moment.

I never wear any makeup, and I never have. I've always been a tomboy, I grew up digging in the dirt for worms, wrestling, and climbing trees with my 4 brothers. I was never into the more "girly" things, which included makeup, nail polish, excessive hair styling...I never saw the point to it and it just isn't "me." I keep my nails short and neat but never bother with them more than that. I dry my hair with a towel and brush it and that's the end of that. I have never gotten into the primping and preening thing that a lot of women do.

I have always felt that using makeup was a misrepresentation of what's really there. I don't and never have liked my face, but never felt the desire to change it or "enhance" it via makeup. If someone is attracted to me, I want it to be to my face in all of its plainness and reality--not hiding or covering up flaws, not changing how my skin or features look. I know not everyone sees it this way and I don't wish to tell anyone that they are wrong for enjoying the use of makeup. This is just how I feel about it--for me. Plus, my skin is very sensitive (I have eczema, so my skin is dry and easily irritated--daily I have to apply moisturizers and steroid creams) and applying makeup would make me absolutely miserable--itchy, burning, and not fun.

Thankfully, my Master feels the same way about makeup that I do. He finds the fact that I don't wear any to be refreshing. He's specifically expressed that he doesn't want me to wear any makeup because he likes looking at my face just the way it is. To be appreciated in this manner makes me feel truly loved and beautiful. He does cut my hair to the way he likes it. I enjoy that a lot, it is sort of ritualized in a way, him grooming me to his preference.

He of course, as my owner, has the right to make me wear whatever, but if he were to change his mind and make me wear makeup, not only would I be physically miserable and in pain, but I would also be upset that he wanted to change me in that way--because to me, it wouldn't just be changing how I look, it would be changing who I am. I am grateful that he enjoys me as I am.

My everyday look is no makeup, no special hair styling, and no polish on nails.

If I am dressing up to go out for some reason, I do it all. My makeup is all mineral (except for eye stuff) and I tend to relatively low key. If I do go nuts it's with eye makeup. In my pics on here I am wearing what I consider "full makeup."

When I was younger, I used to wear fake eye lashes and such. What fun !

As I've aged, my face looks better with less. Or I just think all that is silly.

I dont want anyone to put make up on me.. I did go to a store once and someone put make up on me but i didnt like what they did so I think i do my make up better than anyone else does.. I dont like to look over done or like a clown so I go easy on make-up, I like a more natural, subtle and sophisticated look.. I do a pretty good job in shading and using different shades to make my eyes look deeper and sensual (doe-like?), make my cheekbones look more prominant, etc and i use just a very light tint color on my lips, I like a moist kissable look for my lips.. It takes me all of 5 minutes to do make-up but i havent worn it in about a year now.. I usually need a reason to put make up on, like a date or meeting someone important.. but then for those occasions i dress differently also..

I like mineral make-up for my face (I use 2 shades for the effect I like, 1 shade all over and the other used like blush) but have never tried mineral eyeshadow,.. I use 3 colors of eyeshadow.. and good make-up brushes are a must!.. one thing i have a hard time with is finding a good black eyeliner that during the day doesnt melt and make my eyes look like someone beat me.. If i put it on too lightly it doesnt melt/smudge but then it doesnt look dramatic enough for me.. if i put enough on to get the look i like it melts/smudges way too much.. [:(] I have used the pencils and the liquid eyeliner and still have not found one i love..

I wish i could do more with my fine hair.. ugh.. I could not do the fake eyelash thing.. I hate mascara a lot but have wimpy eyelashes so contemplating getting Latisse at some point.. i have seen women that use it and want to give it a try.. I already have brown eyes so the possible color change thing isnt a concern.. I just heard about a 4 day lash tint and want to look into trying that also instead of mascara..

Latisse is one of those things you have to do forever, the effects don't last.

yes, I know that and its not cheap (there is now also a generic Latisse too that costs less than the brand).. and i know there are less expensive and otc other products.. but i have seen a few women that used Latise and for me it (or its generic) would be worth it... You use it more often for the first while and then less often.. Using Lattise with some sort of light 4 day tint (not sure what brand to try first) to make them look darker and more alluring would be worth it for my wimpy lashes.. I have been watching The Client List with Jennifer Love Hewitt and when they do a close focus on her face,.. I just cant believe her lashes (I am sure they are fake lashes which i wont do).. but they look WOW!, imo.. I dont expect to have mine look like hers but i will be happy with getting the results of the women who i have seen use it..

There are a lot of things you need to keep doing forever.. like exercise.. but we try to do those things we feel have benefit, save time and make us feel good.. [:)]

lol well... once you get the equipment then yeah, free to do at home.. I used to go for long walks but that was too hard on my feet, i need a treadmill or other equipment.. and workout shorter but twice a day..

but the cost, depending on what you like to do... these are cheapie prices, you can pay mucho more..
the exercise mat, large interlocking blocks.. not cheap.. min $40 depending on how thick and how many squares (I like large coverage).. adjustable weight set.. at least $70 or more depending on the brand (as much as 150).. kettlebells.. $20 each per size and 2 of each for exercises.. adjustable bench for weights 65?+ large mirrors $? .. fan to keep cool (and a/c), I hate overheating.. overhead pull-up bar 20+ skipping rope 10 various other stuff $?

exercise clothes ? (my enell bra was 70 each and since i work out twice a day i need at least 2)
gym shoes.. i need wide shoes.. 60? x 2 pairs preferably
workout vids? px90 ? etc?

I still have a spin bike, elliptical machine and bowflex stuck up in Canada.. [:(] those were several thousand

I would like a home treadmill that is adjustible, i might be able to get away with a cheap one and just put a hunk of wood under the front supports to increase the angle but a cheapie might be 500 or ? a cushion mat underneath also.. I would also want a laptop treadmill desk so i could walk and work at the same time, but that i can make myself, still a cost for the parts & pipe 100?..
i really, really want a concept 2 rowing machine too.. $1,000

oh.. and dont forget them there fitness mags.. about 30+/m

ok.. that is my home version of exercise.. but for me right now, the cheapest best way is to just pay for a membership but that is still $45/m at the Y.. but they have GREAT AIR CONDITIONING!!! [:)]

Oh holy moly, I dont need all that, but it would be nice. If the Latisse works for you, let me know, I am thinking of dedicating my 50's to Vanity, and I do miss my long eyelashes. They're still long npbut not like they were.

I am starting to use products...I got some tinted moisturizer! And am using up my estee samples, when I remember.

L'Oreal makes a lash boosting serum I have heard good things about. Cost ...around 14 bucks.

Hard Candy makes an eyelash "ink" that doesn't come off for around four days. Cost....7 bucks.

I didnt know Hard Candy was still around. I try to avoid ULTA & Sephora unless I need sometjing specific. Because well.. I needed the new lizard greenygold opi, and wound up leaving with that, some pureology shampoo. (Which I needed), lemon sugar bath scrub, and something else that I forgot about already.

I only know they are still around because one of the girls brought me one of their red EyeDef colours that I like. It is ruby and all glittery. Maybe I should ask her where she got it hahaha.
