In my universe (a rather odd universe, I'll grant, but a fun one). Just a mild spate of patriotism that doesn't like being singled out for what is a human failing... not a uniquely American one.

for the record schweetie... Im english, and Im well aware of the fuckuppery my country has been part of over the centuries AND centuries. Im just willing to accept it. Thats the difference, patriotism isnt blindness, or shouldnt be.
