I seem to be having trouble finding a MASTER, I am a white gay sub, hoping to locate a MASTER to serve, why is it so hard to find one? I read posts, blogs and all, it seems everyone has found theirs, everyone but me. This fag boi lives in Syracuse NY and is hoping to find his MASTER before the turn of the next century, if anyone can help me, advise me, I would certainly follow and obey what is given to me.

If all you want is any-dom, there is a lot of any-dom out there. What in a master would make him want you? And what defines "master" to you versus any other man?

I'm not trying to condescend, it's merely that people come to the table with their own definitions, and it can leave others unclear as to what you stand for and desire. Clarifying those on your profile may help your search. Personally, I'd expand your profile either beyond kink or at least go into some details, both about what you want and about what you bring to the table as a slave.

But seriously, you need to take stock of what you want. So far all we know about you is that kink is your life. There doesn't seem to be anything else to you except your kink. If you want a relationship then you need to add another dimension to your personality. Make you attractive to the people who are looking. As it is, you reek of desperation and 'me me me'.

It took me 8 years to find my Master because I was choosy. Hopefully you won't take as long, but unless you sell yourself a LOT better than you are, then you're going to be searching for a hell of a long time.

'Been to Syracuse. 'Seems like a long shot, Master-wise. You're wise to consider relocation to better your odds. All the common sense relocation caveats apply.

In the meantime, you may as well keep positive and busy. During my long drought, meditation was a great help. If there's something you've been yearning to do of the non-S+M variety, single-time is your opportunity.

I put Gay Male Dom Syracuse in the search boxes and came up with exactly one result so you are likely going to have to expand your search options past collarme. Have you tried joining any Syracuse groups on fetlife? https://fetlife.com/search?q=syracuse

The one Syracuse guy is poly and seems friendly so perhaps ask him for suggestions. Do read his journal to learn the proper way to address him. (Hint - he's not your Master.)

I was here for 18 months before my One found me here.

I am sorry that the insta-Dom machine has not yet been installed in your neighborhood.

Since it isn't up and running yet, you might want to focus on activities that will make you a well rounded person; no one lives in kink 24/7.

No matter what your relationship is, at some point service may be required of you that is non-sexual in nature so perhaps you could learn something that might be useful then?

look for local munches and other local or not so local events and go out and meet folks and see what happens. i found my mistress when i was only looking for a play partner collared for more than 4 years

Why do you think finding a dom is any easier to find anyone else that you want in your life???? Unless all you're looking for is someone to play with and fuck you. If that's the case, put that in your profile and you'll have no shortage at all of "doms" to choose from.

If you're looking for a long term loving, committed partner, then it's not going to be easy. It's not going to happen overnight. It's not any different than finding a partner for any kind of lifestyle or life. I was single for 8 years before Master found me.

Maybe stop trying so hard. Be yourself. Enjoy your life and you'll find life a lot easier. That doesn't mean you stop searching. You put yourself out there to your best abilities and in the best light as can be and then you walk away. People like people who show a confidence and that they enjoy their life. You shine when your life shines.

After looking at your other thread about wanting endless kink/sex I'd have to say that you need to either get some counseling, or find something productive to do with yourself. Whatever is going on in your life right now obviously isn't capturing your mind enough, what can you do to change things up to be more fulfilling?
