Actually making him out a heel nipper is like making out dracula a hematologist. The came up as one of the biggest slumlords on the east coast and besides making low income people's lives miserable and displacing 10s or thousands of elderly and working class people with his 'projects', he has bilked the US taxpayer out of several billion dollars of their tax dollars in ill-gotten housing subsidies.

He's not a 'figure' in politics. The thing with Billionaires is though that it's pretty well known that they are either looking for political power or approached by those that are with the idea of contribution as "dues" to stay a billionaire... and they run the same game on the millionaires. So at some level, he's involved.
