What is above the drop ceiling?
The best way to do this is eye bolts (flat end, for nuts, not pointy end for self-tapping) through the ceiling joists with fender washers under the nuts to distribute the load over a larger area, or a piece of channel stock along the top of the joist, again to distribute the load.
It's also safer/stronger to put in two (or three) hooks on two (or three) joists, and run a chain between them with your suspension hook on the chain. That distributes the load across two (or three) different joists.
large lag screws into the joists is a second, though much less desirable choice. I wouldn't ever use a single lag hook or eye, but two or three to distribute the load might work. Be aware that you need a static holding capacity 3 to 5 times the weight of your captive. A struggling captive can add significant force above their own weight to the load on the hooks.
I had a hook in a rafter on my porch (for hanging a large hanging planter). I was able to pull my full weight up on that hook (~200 pounds), but chaining a 50 pound weight, lifting the weight 2 to 3 feet and dropping it, the hook pulled out.
