...while outpacing him in wealth

Typical leftist talking head - no consistency.

None.

mnottertail -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 7:45:30 AM)

typical rightist talking head in the article, no point, and part of it is a what if scenario, and passed off as truth.

tazzygirl -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 7:49:53 AM)

While 80 million doesn’t yet put Stewart into the same wealth bracket as Romney, he is already on pace to be richer than the former Massachusetts governor when he reaches his age.

Shame the headline doesnt match the reality

Then theres AL Gore, flying from one good ol' global warming revival sermon to the next on his private jet, and wandering the vast halls of his mansion in between as he plots his next attack on the evils of using energy

Its okay if he uses excessive energy though...

He is wealthy enough to buy carbon offsets, after all! [;)]

While the right does nothing but borrow and spend and vote on ratpoison in your drinking water as a jobs bill.

Daily Caller......isn`t that the rag where the ass-hole heckler works?

And there's your problem. You think entertainers are talking heads.

Moonhead -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 8:45:49 AM)

Well, that's the rightist stance in a nutshell, isn't it? Unless they're some pillhead who happens to be effectively running the Republican party, they're all serious pundits, not mere entertainers.

kalikshama -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 10:04:41 AM)

The difference is that Jon Stewart thinks Romney's 13.9% effective tax rate is wrong and points out that poor people have shitty lobbyists:

Mitt Romney justifies making more in one day than the median American family makes in a year, while paying the same tax rate as the guy who scans his shoes at the airport.

They have heads, and they talk... Don't they?

Just because someone throws a sword down a hallway doesn't mean you have to catch it.

Well if you're going to make up your own definitions, then anything means anything your world wants it to mean.

No need working yourself into a lather over the definition of a talking head... but, just so you can get an education today, a "talking head" is simply any yakking head appearing on the old boob tube

Which your hallowed comedian news sources completely qualify as talking heads

Re the topic though, that leftists are consistently inconsistent, three hilarious headlines from todays Drudge Report fit in perfectly

Obama plays 100th round of golf...

Flashback: Axelrod called Bush 'out of touch' for playing golf in bad economy...

Al Gore's eco-friendly firm lands $16M contract with NYC...

If nothing else, leftists are endlessly entertaining! [:D]

A perfect definition of your sources, if that's what does it for ya.

mnottertail -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 12:19:32 PM)

So now we are mocking the stupidity of the Drudge Report?  K, I'm in.

Another hallmark of a leftist - anything but the topic... [;)]

Bet it thrills you that Obama can work hard at improving his golf score etc while telling reporters he is too busy fulfilling his duties as president to campaign in Wisconsin on behalf of his union buddies

http://www.google.com/search?q=obama+too+busy+wisconsin&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

No inconsistency there either though, is there [:D]

Nice try, but it's a Jon Stewart thread as if his "position" on Romney is anything other than entertainment.

DomKen -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 1:59:01 PM)

How is Stewart, net worth roughly $80 million, richer than Romeny, net worth unknown but known to be in excess of $250 million?

Musicmystery -> RE: Jon Stewart mocks ‘rich’ Romney (6/18/2012 2:01:28 PM)

I don't know. How?
