Well some of you may remember me by a recent post that I put up a few months ago "my Masters secret". The post went on about the fact that I was sleeping with a man who dominated me in the bedroom for the first time. (OH, and he has a fiance) I thought he was my "Master" because he told me he was. I enjoyed the beatings, the blindfolds, and all the "playing". BUT then I met Amayos here at this site. He was the "voice of reason", the one that opened my mind up to knowing there was more to a "Master/Slave" relationship other than getting beat and tied up. That there was a mental aspect of it all that was more powerful then any beating I would ever recieve. At first it started off pretty rocky. I did not know how to answer a Master or speak in the correct tone. I was unsure of how to act and speak. As weeks went on, I not only learned respect but I learned how to love and respect myself more. When I think that I even considered calling the ladder a Master, I laugh. He was the furthest thing from a Master. There was no real respect there, esp. since I was his little secret and I allowed that to happen. I am now owned by Amayos and Ive never been so happy about a relationship in my life. It is so real, open, respectful and wonderful. I love and worship him with all of myself! So with that said, I have to thank this site :) Without this, I would never have met my beautiful Master and I wouldnt be smiling 24/7 like I am today! :) Thank you

NJsubgirl It's really difficult to know how to respond to a posting such as yours. You sound as if you had a rocky start in the BDSM world and for that, I am extremely sorry. I can relate to you in that I too met men who said they were masters but the truth was - they were just looking for the thrill of having someone on the side and having their vanilla relationship too. When a man is married, engaged, living with someone and they still want to have you on the side - it's not a good thing. If he will do this to his partner, what makes us think he won't do it to you and how can we judge him if we are going out with him, or even just "playing" if we know he's involved and we are enabling him in his cheating ways. Note - IF he is "occupied" with someone and you know for a fact that the person is okay with his fantasy world and by "know for a fact" I mean confirm it with HER - then sometimes it works. But, I'll put my soap box back under the bed now. It's just that when a slave girl submits to a man she considers to be her master - the break up - for whatever reason - can be one that will destroy her, physically, mentally and otherwise. But - it appears as if you not only moved on from your experience but found the one who appears to be the right one for you. Congratulations! I hope that a year from now you post an updated blog telling us how much more wonderful life is for you then than it is now ... learning, growing and trusting moves us forward ... may you go on the wings of the wind into the future with your new One. I met my Master on another site. We now live together. He is my first and only too.I wear his collar proudly. I also went through a could of wannabees before I met him. I am so glad you found someone. I think it is great. Congratulations.

Amayos and I are engaged. He proposed after our 318nth disagreement. As polar opposites with hands on each other's throat, we are confident of our chances for dialectical bliss. We fly to Hawaii for nuptials October. He wants bridesmaids and I don't. He wants cream colored invitations and I want megenta. A nude wedding is out of the question. I also told him the cross face would have to go. There is just so much to sort out. Instead of a reception, though, we plan to have a slave rebellion.

I never come up to these parts of the forums, but I saw the activity and had to check it out. I can only echo Chewsie in that I greatly respect Amayos for many reasons, and I am thrilled for NJSubGirl to have found her right path. Having been led astray a few times myself, I can relate to the bliss of the curtain being lifted, and in learning that self discovery can be a good thing. My warmest regards to you both.
