Do you remember sixmore2go? That profile was created in July 2009...by arpig....and the first posting by sixmore2go in the forums was in November, 2011.

I take it by that term you mean a single writer posting a number of messages intended to defraud the reader into thinking that he, or she, is reading multiple viewpoints expressed by multiple people. I had not thought of that, and probably wouldn’t try it. You see like some of you, I am unjustifiably proud of what I write and wouldn't want to miss out on the slightest credit for any of it.

True enough in part, but not totally. You see it was my intention to mock, parody, and imitate, stopping just short of the outright belittling of the sphinctor who has eagerly sought your scorn, and all in the name of mildly humorous satire. I do confess I misfired. Some of you thought he was me, while others just didn't think it all that funny.

And mea culpa to what I hope at least the more generous spirits here may consider a technical foul. I did actually sign a rewrite of one of the aforesaid "writer's" less graceful efforts, post #23, with the signature EBW. This message was in fact a play within a play, signed clearly and authentically by yours truly. Surely to God Almighty has nary a writer here fanned the pages of The Elements of Style in freshman English? Sadly that inner signature went unrecognized and with it evidence of my mockery, as was a later attempt at clarification, to wit on #30 a link to this wonderful book co-authored by Mr. Elwyn Brooks White, where it is being sold for a mere fraction of its true value by Amazon.

Free to fault me for not knowing my audience, but please save your skepticism from causing any diminishment of respect for the old hands among you who recognized me as a previous correspondent. I think you may find the barest facts of the crime of sock puppetry present in certain parts of the thread, but humbly plead that you stay my execution on grounds of insufficient evidence of intent to defraud.

I'm not sure if the sock thing is true but if so, he should stick with his alter ego (the smarter one) and if not, then awesome. I got the reference when which you used sarcasm in your first post on this thread. But it wasn't something I aid attention to enough to quote or write about.

How can anyone tell or even care what you are looking for, if in a written medium they cannot even read it or at the very least, just find it obnoxiously disorienting?

Oh god thank you... I needed that. I still haven't finished this thread, though another seems to have claimed that it was just a joke, to watch what shit they can stir up. Montaigne would be proud I suppose, but I am starting to lose interest in this type of behavior. Rolling my neck and sincerely wishing that I was getting a massage.

Expecting me to recognize the initials is too much to ask. However, speaking of him - if you've never read his Trumpet of the Swan, you should. My inlaws gave it as a present to my oldest, a truly wonderful book.
