Obey, be pleasing, serve.

Imo, if you have to ask this then you haven't been together long enough to know each other. If that's the case, get to know each other and stop wondering what will make him happy. I'm sure he'll be more than willing to let you know.

To the OP..

Littlewonder's advice is also really good.

If you've managed for 7 months I'm guessing you've nailed the bare minimum "Do not disappoint" and you're probably all over the next one which is "surprise and delight".

One of the only bits of relationship advice I'll ever give is .... don't forget surprise and delight. Don't go nuts trying to make every day christmas, but once in a while set out to really delight your partner.

I'd also add that, while this may not be at all true in other people's dynamics, I also feel a responsibility to add surprise and delight to the relationship.

I like the surprise and delight bit and it's spot on.

We both sometimes get caught up in everyday life sometimes but we both try to make a point and do that with each other from time to time just to say "I know I've been busy lately but I haven't forgotten about you".

It's a nice gesture to remind each other.
