My post was never about hate, never about racism, but I knew the SECOND I hit "Enter" I'd be lambasted with all kinds of folks who'd be offended by my words. Folks who are determined to be PC.
But I'm a white guy, so my words about those who refuse to better themselves, regardless of race will be cast aside for political correctness....everyone with an opinion will (and has) jump(ed) in to express their hatred against me....not what I said....but me.
But I'm not the issue or the curse. The curse is poor preparedness.
The problem is people who choose to spend their lives refusing to build upon their best efforts. Rather, they choose to escape and fail.
It's not a racist thing to say that, but some races have a preponderance for these types of actions. I didn't make this shit up...look at the stats.
It doesn't make a damn bit of difference if every black only college opened their doors tomorrow to every race on the planet or even yesterday....what matters is, those who choose to do street drugs, no matter their race, and choose that as a lifestyle, end up with rubber teeth. That's a fact.
Those that choose to finish high school at a minimum, do better than those who don't. Those that find a way to get even a moderate level of college behind them, do better than those who only chose to finish high school.
And those that leave their children behind, statistically, end up with progeny that follow that same path because they have NO BETTER EXAMPLE.
I don't give a fuck what color you are...these are truths.
Follow whatever PC culture you desire but if you fail to educate yourself, if you leave your children behind...you incarcerate those children to a failed future....as well as yourself.
I barely got a high school education and at 53, I'm probably the last generation that could get away with that bare minimum and succeed.....today, the least you need is Jr. College and frankly, that'll get you a 20 dollar an hour job at best, unless you're just a damned genius.
Most of us aren't.
Trust me...I hire these people, all colors, and it is beyond astounding how many kids today have absolutely no skill sets to carry them forward.
Hate me all you want but, everyone here knows inherently that the more you hate, the more you carry grudges, the more you believe that someone else is the reason you've failed is ALWAYS a failed excuse.
The only way forward for anyone....is determination, drive, wherewithal, desire, and an absolute fire to ensure that without fail, you're going to succeed, even if everyone else on the planet wants you to fail.
Because....you can...fail....or succeed.
It's entirely up to you.
And for all those in the above posts who have chosen to "ignore" me through that sexy little button that allows same....all good.
I didn't say anything that wasn't true....most simply read it through PC lenses...and that's okay with me....succeed if you want to.
