We'll buy Tom Cruise some stilts and send him your number. I think he's available at the moment.

Eeew no, I don't like Cruise he's too froggy.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 12:50:05 PM)

There was a program called THE HUMAN FACE, and in the discussion on how humans are drawn to symmetry it was shown that Tom Cruise had the "perfect" face as far as such things go.

Pity he's bonkers.

JanahX -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 12:56:10 PM)

Their data is obviously flawed. Tom Cruise is a dog.

I don't find him terribly appealing. Fascinating program, though, John Cleese was the presenter. I messed with my face and the symmetry grid, and gave more points to my surgeons! It's strictly a hard-tissue measurement, how far apart your eyes are, length of nose, that sort of thing. Like the figures you practise with for art, the proportion dolls? The stuff that gives you those incredibly static compositions when you're first learning figure study and you say WHY am I doing this?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Human_Face yay wikipedia. Parts of it are on Youtube, also.

I went out with a Dom for 4 yrs. Lived with him the 1st year together. He was 6'2", weighed in at over 350 lbs, had long hair and a beard. I SWEAR he took one shower every 3 months, and that's if I was lucky. I moved in with him in June and it was the hottest summer on record. And he did a lot of tough yard work. The B.O. stench was incredible, and I have a really sensitive nose. I begged and pleaded with him, no go. We even slept in the same bed. His hair was always greasy, his jeans were old and covered in stains, his teeth were yellow, it was disgusting. I got lucky, he didn't want sex or even to kiss me. I think I would have thrown up. The bedroom was a disaster area that I wasn't allowed to clean, there was garbage on the floor, empty plastic 2L pop bottles piled about 2 ft under his desk and he used to have a fit if I emptied the overflowing ashtrays that hadn't been washed in years. [:'(] [:'(]

Now that was UGLY. I'm so careful now to make sure that any man in my life now has good hygiene and knows how to keep a room clean, indeed a house or an apartment. Is it any wonder? [8D]

Reading the link -
I am very unhappy about the first human face transplant. It freaks me out.

I wonder if this show is on Netflix - Im going to go check.

JanahX -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 1:08:42 PM)

No its not on Netflix - but The Human Centipede did come up, which is more disturbing to me than the first human face transplant.

ummmm ... and WHY did you go out with him again?

OttersSwim -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 1:09:53 PM)

Because I'm a total idiot who thought she was in love and could eventually show him by example that a shower every day doesn't hurt and wouldn't make him melt like sugar? [8|]

JanahX -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 1:19:15 PM)

did he brush his teeth? Did he have teeth?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 1:20:54 PM)

The face transplants have markedly improved. (I have kind of a vested interest in following plastic surgery, and my fellow freaks generally...) The dude that was bear-mauled that has magnetic facial implants is very cool also.

And Otters, while I am a big fan of Lyle Lovett's sounds, he is not an appealing specimen.

He didn't brush his teeth, I don't think he knew what toothpaste was, and the ones he had were rotten. They used to fall out on a regular basis. Yes, I was an IDJIT to the nth degree! [>:]

littlewonder -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 1:52:42 PM)

Wow..I wouldn't have been able to get past the smell to even spend 5 minutes with him!

Really? I'm a little over 5'10" and I've never had any problems finding men that are taller than me.

This is no lie lol...

I grew up in Indiana, and I swear not a single man I ever came into contact with was taller than me...After I met my husband (who was almost 6'9 ) we moved back to Texas where he was originally from. I don't think, in the 10+ years that I was down there, that I ever came into contact with a man who was NOT taller than me.

Maybe I am just in the wrong area [:o]

sexyred1 -> RE: To Women: What is an ugly man? (7/9/2012 2:09:18 PM)

Teeth are a big thing with me.

If you have bad teeth, I cannot deal with it.

How could you even kiss a man with bad teeth and bad oral hygiene??

Being 5'3", everyone is taller than me! [:D]

But I've always liked men who were 6' or more. I love being able to wear heels and he's still taller than me. lol

I would struggle to even be polite to a person like that. Seriously.
