Heard recently from a lawyer friend in LA.  Seems there is a push to "capture" the bad guys in white slavery.  She detailed how CA was going to use ads for the sale or rent of slaves and prosecute the responding bidders.  As we all know, most states have not actually approved of "self statements of slavehood" but have chosen to over look the issues when such a document exists.  CA proposed actions is seemingly based on the bid or promise of exchange of money as the basis of slave trading which violates state and federal law.  I haven't seen anything yet that seems to conform to this style of action, but it would be wise to keep the eyes open and beware any such solicitation.

So which section of the classified ads are slaves usually advertised in?  And could someone e-mail me the black book to figure out how much a slave is worth?  What stuff do I need to know - model, year, mileage?

Yours,

benji

Interesting, considering I just saw a profile on here for a "Slave for Sale",  if I remember correctly the slave was in CA,  but that would rather seem like entrapment.

The ad said her Master was marrying a nilla and selling her, npic of an attractive naked lady.  The ad went on to say, you must pay using paypal, and then I will travel to you.  My scam alert went of, bu that was about it.

I believe I found the profile you were speaking of.  It seems to no longer contain information for payment (PayPal) nor any personal history quotes (getting married to vanilla, etc).  May be trying to trim down on the parts that would be legally classified as entrapment.  Caution sure seems to be the password on profiles like these.  Also makes me wonder what we might see coming in the future.

ok, stupid question from a new slave. does this mean even though i have given myself to an Owner and even stated that i am Hers to do with as She wishes and if i displease Her in any way she may sell or trade me as She wishes, that She could still get in trouble if She did?

Yep, that's pretty much what it means.  Real slavery is illegal in all civilized countries.  Role play is one thing, even if you do sign papers.  Accepting or offering  payment for a human being, however, is going to be regarded by LE as slave trafficking.  Issues of consent would not even enter into it.  Lock her up and throw away the key, they might.

Renting out  a slave, BTW, is going to be considered pandering prostitution in most states, which is generally a felony.  Damn stupid to take out an online or print ad for it, if you do it as part of your role play.

Real slavery is rampant worldwide, and some 'civilized'  governments seem to be turning a blind eye to it.

quote:

Human Rights Watch estimates that every year, 800,000 to 900,000 men, women and children are trafficked across international borders into forced labor or slavery-like conditions.  Trafficking includes all acts related to the recruitment, transport, transfer, sale, or purchase of human beings by force, fraud, deceit, or other coercive tactics for the purpose of placing them into conditions of forced labor or practices similar to slavery, in which labor is extracted through physical or non-physical means of coercion, including blackmail, fraud, deceit, isolation, threat or use of physical force, or psychological pressure.6  The UN International Labor Office (ILO) reports that Asia has three-quarters of the 12.3 million people believed to be in forced labor worldwide.7
