68% of the medicare coverage is for women, right? Now does everyone understand why they hate it so much? Whenever a woman isn't dependent on a man, it fucks up their entire worldview. So everything that reduces that dependence is bad to their thinking.

It's something to pity, really, if it didn't mean killing women to support their dysfunctional worldview.

According to the leaders of the Conservative movement:

Making Americans buy health insurance is so unamerican it is worthy of armed revolt.

Making an American woman get a probe shoved inside her against her will for no medically necessary reason as an impediment to getting a Constitutionally protected medical procedure upholds the finest traditions of America.

My question is what America are these people talking about?

That's a really good point, I look forward to having someone explain to us how those two positions aren't irreconcilable.

I've been baffled by that for a while. It is really bizarre to me to see someone proclaiming their patriotism and "Real American" status on one hand and shitting all over the Constitution on the other hand.

My current theory is that it's an elaborate fantasy role play involving a fictional country which I think is called "The Real America" where unpatriotic views and bigoted practices are the norm. These role players therefore need to continually spout certain phrases about things like patriotism and American values to identify other enthusiasts so they can role play with them.

So it's not the place where I actually live? The one where people are so unsure about keeping their jobs that they're paralyzed?

It's the place where it's legal and ethical to kill teenagers for cutting across your lawn. I know it's confusingly named kind of like the "real slavery" fantasy roleplay. *shrug* these people are REALLY into their fantasy, they're not going to name it something that reminds everyone it's make believe.

My property is clearly marked No Trespassing. That tells anyone with any sense to stay off. If they enter the premises, armed or not, they will cease to live. No questions asked.

I'm certainly not going to try to figure out if they have hostile intentions or not, taking the time and care for a felon is just one more way to get yourself killed.

You know that would explain a lot. Clearly the rp'ers could not be as dumb as they act and still be functional.
