Something that has, at least to me, been somewhat obvious, is that the term 'FinDom' is somewhat new and is actually a corruption of an actual and trust worthy act. That being what financial domination is actually intended to be. Financial Domination is supposed to be essentially Financial Control Power Exchange. Meaning that the Top or Dominant controls the finances RESPONSIBLY in the relationship. The problem came about when people who do not understand the ethics, morals, and Code of Conduct that this lifestyle is supposed to encourage; IE: Trust and Safe, Sane, Consensual exploration. Meaning that when people who don't fully understand the lifestyle figure that it's about ruining someone's life and that subs and slaves (of both sexes, yes there are male FinDoms) are subhuman. The worse part is the Subs and slaves that encourage this behavior by feeding it. I guess my point being is that there is a difference between Findom(me)s and those who practice traditional Financial domination.

Nobody is forced to send anyone money. In fact, Collarme warns everyone not to send money to others. So we're supposed to find even more ways to help someone who is so ruled by their dick and bad porn that they bankrupt themselves sending money to a complete stranger? That level of stupid is beyond help.

Hi, member here since 2006. Far be it from me to say that all financial domination is the same because surely it isn't. A dominant woman controlling her actual sub or partner's money as part of a TPE is really not something I look down on. But let's not split hairs here. This isn't what the original poster is talking about and it isn't what the majority of FinDomme looks like. Being a Pro Domme is also not what this looks like because the majority of these women do not offer anything substantial beyond "gimme, buy me, then fuck off." It's a scam perpetuated by women that are short on rent, low on gas and, oftentimes, in substantial supply of ham sandwiches. Does anyone here honestly believe that this should be so disproportionately represented on the personals here? Personally, I don't. I'm not about to make a thread about it but I do report every scammer profile I see unless the user specifies that they are a professional and offer actual BDSM services, of which I do not think any of us should count FinDomme. FinDomme is only a part of an otherwise more diverse BDSM experience. On its own two legs it's little more than what a PSO might offer, which no shame on PSOs but that's hardly what this website is for. I don't think the average FinDomme can even be compared to the noble PSO occupation. I would call them more so dreaded "cam whores" and most personals websites discourage their type like the plague, yet for some reason any guy that questions them here is derided by people with thousands upon thousands of posts who have lost all perspective that some of us might still be looking for a significant match. Some of us might be using this service in conjunction with real world activity. If that chaps anyones ass then I make no apologies. I'm not in the business of placating egos outside a relationship. He's right. FinDomme scammers have flooded the personals section of this website. It's to the point where 9 times out of 10 I can randomly click a profile and wind up with some snarky BS about FinDomme. It isn't that we can just "block them and move on" because it makes actually looking for someone of interest far more daunting than it ought to be. From an administrative perspective, it's bad for communication on a communications based website. This deserves the regular criticism it receives. As to the accusation that people who have a problem with this state of affairs are "whiny" or "broke," generally speaking most people do not pay for any sexual service and it would seem that not every guy is a hard dick that's just mad he can't find a 19 year old perfect Domme. I'm certainly not. Regardless of whatever BS the original poster might have going on, he's right.

You are aware that what we do is not SANE for most of the population? So the whole SSC stuff is pretty useless anyway, window dressing, I prefer RACK, because yeah, most people don't see that spanking, bondage, edge play or D/s are all that sane.
