subspaceseven -> 2016 and how Mittens is changing the game (7/16/2012 7:54:55 AM)

So, whoever wins one thing is clear. Willard refusing to release more than the minimum under law for disclosure about his personal taxes and income will cause trouble down the road. He released 1 year and will release the 2nd some time in Oct., (I'm thinking the 31st)

So next cycle what is the GOP to do when they start demanding the DEM running whoever they are release all their tax returns, as they have for every person running since hell who knows.
During the primary he was called on this and refused, today he is being called on it an refusing, and the powerhouses in the GOP are silent.....as are many here...about this issue....

if he does not release them, how can the GOP ask anyone else to release more than meets the bare minimum standard, of course when Willard loses, they will forget who he is by the next election...I guess that is how they will handle it when they demand more of someone else, then they do of themselves.....

Well, its a moot point, he has zero chance of surviving the immolation of the republican party.

It's a bit early for tumbrils just yet, Ron.

Sounding the tocsin, my good man, just sounding the tocsin.

In case they want to do a final koolaide quench

If Romney crushes Obama 70%-30%, then every one of his moves, including this one, will be hailed as genius. If he loses, the GOP will avoid any review of his actual policies or character, and will try to find which tactical errors he made. If he loses big, every GOP candidate (and likely the Dem ones) will release lots of tax returns in future.

Which could be a good thing, so that's yet another reason to hope the incontinent tosspot loses...

Still not sure why this giant issue is being made of his tax returns. The man and his family are rich as Croesus. What else is new? I am having a hard time believing that anyone in modern America expects honesty from anyone running for political office.

It's like paying a whore to take it up the arse, sweetie: you expect them to make some sort of effort to fake it.

Ah, see, I thought we were far past that! [:D]

Knowing that they don't mean it just makes the fact that they're making an effort (however half arsed it is) even more charming...

WE are, but nothing Romney does will satisfy the Brit.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: 2016 and how Mittens is changing the game (7/16/2012 11:39:11 AM)

Well it doesn't have to satisfy them, does it, since we're the ones who will suffer. [8|]

It wouldn't satisfy you if you meant even half of the crap you've spent the last four years spouting about teh kenyan.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: 2016 and how Mittens is changing the game (7/16/2012 12:01:08 PM)

Really, this place needs some sort of glossary of insults. Which one is the chimp? The younger Shrub? Can we tag you people according to which camp of lunacy you fall into?

Moonhead -> RE: 2016 and how Mittens is changing the game (7/16/2012 12:03:06 PM)

The chimp is the one who went AWOL from the national guard.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: 2016 and how Mittens is changing the game (7/16/2012 12:06:54 PM)

Ha! Okay, I can see the resemblance. When I think "chimp" I think "really smart animal strong enough to rip your arm off". The confusion is understandable. [;)]

So you are going on the record as pleased by Romneys minimum disclosure in this area ?
