SAN DIEGO -- Search warrants released Wednesday include evidence that the suspects in the murder of a young wife of a Camp Pendleton Marine were involved in sex slave role playing and had a "sex dungeon" in their Fallbrook home.

The nude body of 22-year-old Brittany Killgore was discovered on April 17 near Lake Skinner in southern Riverside County, four days after she disappeared. Dorothy Maraglino, Louis Ray Perez and Jessica Lynn Lopez have been charged in her death.

One of the four warrants released Wednesday sought cell phone records between April 13, when Killgore was last seen getting into Perez's Ford Explorer, and April 14, when a friend of Killgore reported her missing.

The warrant, written by San Diego Sheriff's homicide Det. Brian Patterson, detailed evidence that investigators collected during their early investigation of Killgore's death.

During a search of the home that Maraglino and Lopez shared at 317 E. Fallbrook Street in Fallbrook, detectives found "sex apparatus and sex toys," Patterson wrote. "One room appeared to be set up as some type of sex dungeon. Dorothy Maraglino and Louis Perez told Detective Patterson that they were involved in sexual activities which indeded master, servant and slave role playing."

Detectives also interviewed an ex-girlfriend of Perez who told them that she and Perez engaged in bondage, whipping, spanking and cutting. On one occasion, they held a woman in the sex dungeon and did not allow her to leave without permission from Perez or Maraglino, according to the warrant.

After arresting Perez on an unrelated gun charge, sheriff's detectives began searching for Maraglino and Lopez, according to the warrant. They found Maraglino's pickup parked at a Ramada Inn at 1403 Rosecrans Street in San Diego, according to the warrant. Jessica Lopez was in a room at the motel, where she had attempted to kill herself, Patterson wrote. They found a seven-page document in the room signed by Lopez. In it, she said she had dumped Killgore's body "in almost plain sight" near Lake Skinner.

Later that day, investigators discovered Killgore's body where the document said it would be.

Himself and I are watching this on the news, too, Oside. :(

They've never said how she died, so we don't know if it was accidental or deliberate.

Edited to add: They just said she was hit with a Taser and then strangled.

Sounds like Lopez is taking the fall for her "Master" though I have no trouble believing that jealousy played a role considering the Marine's wife looked like a fresh-eyed girl next door and Lopez looks.....like she's ready to bite someone's head off.

They've both been charged. The only way she could be taking the fall would be if he wasn't charged. BTW, the way Lopez ran, hid, wrote a detailed description of what happened and then tried to kill herself. That sounds like guilt rather than "taking the fall".

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2175844/Killgore-killing-Jealous-sex-slave-accused-murdering-Marines-wife-thought-trying-seduce-master.html

The newly unsealed search warrants suggest Lopez was in a relationship with her two co-defendants U.S Marine Staff Sgt. Louis Ray Perez, 45, and Dorothy Maraglino, 36.

The three lived togther in a home in Fallbrook, near San Diego. Detectives who searched the property found what they described as a 'sex room/dungeon' with 'several bondage type apparatuses; toys and tools.'

I'm sure it will be labelled a BDSM fail, although it looks to me like a typical jealousy/love triangle thing - Perez settled for he fat babe till the hottie came along and the fat babe snapped at the idea of being marginalized by the hottie.

About the only BDSM angle is that if Perez were vanilla she'd have just taken half his shit.

I'm sure it will be labelled a BDSM thing, although it looks like a classic jealousy/love triangle thing to me: Perez settled for a couple of fat babes till a hottie came along, the fat babe snapped at the idea of being marginalized by the hottie - again apparently.

About the only BDSM angle I see here is that if Lopez were vanilla, she'd have settled for just taking half his shit.

I do suspect Lopez has some serious abandonment issues.

Winterapple -> RE: Murder in San Diego (7/21/2012 7:44:07 PM)

This is a strange story and I think there's a lot more
to it than a insecure fat girl snapped and killed a
skinny girl. I don't believe what was written
in the suicide note. I think the chances are
far more likely Perez and the other woman
are the culprits and that it had nothing to
do with jealousy and there was no quadrangle.

I don't know if they planned on killing her all
along or were just going to abduct her and
something went wrong. The victim might
have been willing to play with them or him
but somehow I doubt it.

Winterapple -> RE: Murder in San Diego (7/21/2012 8:01:16 PM)

Lopez may have been present when the victim was
murdered but I doubt she did the actual killing.
She may have been a accomplice after the
fact and helped with the disposal of the body.
It sounds if she could have mental health
problems.

Perez admits he picked the victim up in
his car to take her on a dinner cruise.
It's been proven by his cellphone that he
lied about his whereabouts. There is no
indication as of yet that the victim was
involved with any of the three or even
how she knew them.

Thaz -> RE: Murder in San Diego (7/21/2012 11:55:10 PM)

Speculation without evidence.

However the BDSM content will no doubt mean that this doesnt get a fair portrayal in the media and also will of course be linked to 50 shades of grey.
If we take anything from this, for me at least, it will be HOW FUCKING CAREFULL you need to be before you play with someone.

AZKinkyGuy -> RE: Murder in San Diego (7/29/2012 11:36:07 PM)

I read through the entire 7 page suicide note Lopez left and I'm entirely convinced that she's been used as a patsy to cover up for the other 2. She may very well have been a willing participant but her recollection of events that completely vindicates the other two doesn't pass the logic or evidence smell test. It really does stretch the realms of credulity and I feel like she definitely does have some mental health issues and was taken advantage of by her "Master" and "Mistress" to take the fall for their shared crime.

AZKinkyGuy -> RE: Murder in San Diego (7/29/2012 11:42:26 PM)

Xxsve, Lopez definitely does seem to have some issues and harbors resentment for a previous Mistress but based on her writings and the facts as released in the affidavit's, it feels like she is being setup. The victim may or may not have wanted to be involved in play with these three but it seems like they may have had other ideas, especially since Perez took her straight to the home, at which point she had texted "HELP" and then her cellphone was shutoff and later on Perez drove into downtown San Diego and dropped the phone off randomly, later telling police that he and the victim had gone to a club together but that he had lost her in the shuffle which was inaccurate as they went straight to the home, additionally Perez picked up the victim under the guise of taking her to an onboard dinner/dance cruise but the ship has already sailed prior to the time that they were leaving the victim's apartment together. Shortly after she texted her best friend with the single word "HELP" and then nothing but silence for several hours until that phone texted the friend again with a message written in a fashion that was uncharacteristic of the victim.

From the outside, this does look like a love triangle or even rectangle going terribly wrong......but if you look closer, it seems that the victim was taken against her will and Lopez's storyline, that Perez just showed up at home and went to bed while leaving the victim by herself in the car, comes off as absolutely ridiculous.

Just another reason for people to look down on us . I hate to say it but there are those who should have common sense beat into them . After everything is said and done it will another reason the bible thumpers will have to get back on their soap boxes . So many things could have gone wrong here but the main one is someone just just got stupid . I had a major fight with my ex because of the safe word . She thinks it is not needed if you know what your doing . I told her things happen and that is why there is a safe word not just a "hey what the hell"? .

They've finally decided this case. http://fox5sandiego.com/2015/10/21/verdict-reached-murder-of-marine-wife/

quote:

VISTA, Calif. – A man and two women involved in a sadomasochistic sex ring are guilty of torturing and murdering a 22-year-old military wife at a home in Fallbrook jurors said Wednesday.

The panel found Louis Ray Perez, 49, Dorothy Maraglino, 40, and Jessica Lynn Lopez, 28, guilty of 1st degree murder in the April 13, 2012, death of Brittany Killgore. The defendants were also found guilty of the special circumstance of kidnapping Killgore and could face life in prison when they are sentenced.

Killgore had just filed for divorce from her Marine husband, who was deployed to Afghanistan, when she was allegedly lured to a meeting with Perez. Her body was found four days later near Lake Skinner in Riverside County.

According to Deputy District Attorney Patrick Espinoza, a stun baton found in the back of Perez’s SUV had the victim’s DNA on it. A plastic sheet in the back of Perez’s car also had the victim’s blood on it, Espinoza told the jury.

Lopez’s attorney, Sloan Ostbye, told jurors that her client was a victim to a “slave” contract she entered into with Maraglino in the bondage and sadomasochistic world. Ostbye presented Lopez as a patsy, an abused servant forced to take the blame for a crime she did not commit.

“She was known as `money bitch,”’ Ostbye said. “Her role was not unsimilar (sic) to that of a dog.”

I wonder what color the jail uniform is for pre-sentence inmates and if it will conflict with a color such as "shades of Grey" That silly book has the potential of getting lots of people in trouble....[sm=2cents.gif]

A young woman was murdered...and you think it's cute to make jokes about a Taser being used on her. Wow, you're a crappy human being.
