Re: Updating one's profile - I also listed this question in the testing section, hoping somebody answers...I'd be very grateful to find out: Does one have to completely re-register at collarme.com to update one's profile? (I want to change both what my profile says, and also update the interests (listed in the interest section). I've searched the FAQ's, but didn't find the answer (maybe that means the answer to both questions is "yes"? hehe). I think the FAQ section is very informative, btw. Any answer to my question here will be very much appreciated. I will be out of town for a few days (a death in the family, an aunt) but plan on updating my profile when I return. On the welcome, or home page, there is a selection tab on the left that says edit profile, you can accomplish what you need there.

susannah, No, I have changed mine a couple times. Just go to your profile, change what you wish, and click on "update" at the bottom of the page. There's also an option for changing your interests. If I can remember correctly, it's at the top of your profile page. Good luck.

[8\|] Yes Inside pretty much covered it, but it should be noted, you can't change one's profile.. only yours. I'm sure One is a nice person, and doesn't want their profile changed by you. :P sns

Ok, something I've noticed. Last time I went in to edit my profile, it erased everything that was already there. Hrm. But heck, it's free. I'll just save the text before updating next time.

[:)]Got it (thanks, thanks, thanks! to INSIDE YOUR MIND/cynnacent, Myra and everyone who replied). Gonna be a few days before I can tweak my profile as i am still out of town on a laptop and busy w/family stuff. But this really helped. Thanks for the help! -susannah

Wetrope: We can't edit journal entries? Only add a new one? I haven't experimented w/these yet (but plan to when I get back in town - am out of town on family business now) - hope somebody here can help 'ya (hang on for a few days....somebody out there will reply. Or, my last-ditch solution is always - fiddle w/it til something new happens, and it can lead to finding the way to do it (this is the solution of a total non -tecchie - but SOMEbody out there in collarme land must know if journals can be edited after hitting "send" or clicking on "okay I'm done, post it" - (and they'll hopefully answer). If we can't edit 'em I just hope someone understands my "stream of consciousness" writing style (ha!) - it is going to be sort of a 'diary' w/intermittent posts, but yeah - It would be nice to be able to retrieve a post and edit after hitting "send". Not sure if we can do that -if not it's the software, and I have no idea if this is the case, or not. Maybe post this question in the test section, too, for visibility - and see what happens, who answers. Maybe a mod or someone else knows the answer. Good luck. - susannah

To edit journal entires you must from the home page first click on the "edit journal". From there you will see the list of your entries. Click on the date of the entry you wish to edit. It will bring that particular entry up and from there you can edit or delete it. HTH Mod3
