Lashra -> Little Girl Wear for Plus sized women (6/9/2006 6:17:07 AM)

Does anyone know where I can purchase pink frilly skirts, cute dresses, jumpers, maryjane shoes in plus sizes? I'm looking for slutty innocence if that makes any sense hehe [;)] for a babygirl/Daddy scene I'm putting together.

Lashra- Have you contacted Unikaren Designs? She started off making square dance dresses but has brancjed into sissy wear and grown-up little girl dresses. I think her stuff might be just what you're looking for...love to see you in one of her outfits! Google her and get to her website!

I'm looking for the same...slutty innocence but more of a little girl look not a baby girl.  I checked out the Unikaren Designs site and she has some very 'cute' stuff.  I liked the baby stuff  but for me the dresses were too Shirly Temple like.  I'm looking for more like a jumper, knee socks, maryjanes, like a Brady girl look. lol   Anyone know of a place to get plus size clothing for this type of look?

I've looked and looked and looked and haven't found much either. It's either baby stuff or prep-school stuff and not much in between. (and not a whole lot of that)

Do a web search for BobbieTawse....she has her own site and sells stuff on e-bay.

hey everyone, i have been having problems finding some of these things too, i did find that you can find alot of nice stuff if you visit costume shops online  the best place to go was http://howcool.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=41, they have some plus size stuff, even a girl scout costume. and i also found http://www.exoticfashionmall.com/plus_size_costumes.htm which has some pretty cute stuff

OMG! Her dresses are beautiful thank you for the info! Daddy will love me in something like that! :)

(Not that he doesn't already love me.) It's way easier to buy one than to make it, even though I've aleady got a few yards of pink check gingham just waiting to become a sweet little girl dress for me...)

Have you thought of maybe taking up stitching yourself? you can purchase a basic sewing machine relatively cheap. And babydoll style dresses are pretty easy to make. I am a self taught seamstress and have gotten good enough that I offer my sewing services to a few people I know.

Also there is another place, Bethany's Boutique. Again, just google it for the addy. The website is mostly girls pageant wear but they will make anything. A woman there, Janet, is who I talked with when I was looking for appropriate outfits for an adult LG a while back. We ended up going to Karen Tripp (Unikaren) but Bethany's prices are very good.

You can always try maternity clothes too!  There are lots of cutesy sites and such, perhaps that would be a possible path to find?

www.torrid.com is a major retailer (Hot Topic's sister store) that has some cute outfits from time to time. I got my red plaid pleated skirt there... and have my eye on a pink one.

do a seller search for tssy on ebay. China based, you'll get stung for high postage, but the stuff is seriously pretty.

Hi Lashra. Well if you are looking for MARY JANES, then you should of come to me FIRST !  But then again, I only have 19 pairs....so far.

I have a small foot (Boy/Girls 6)  Woman's 8, so I can get mine almost anywhere, though I haven't found the CLASSIC, Buckle Strap, 1/2 Heel yet.

For Large Size Mary Janes, try MUFFY's at http://www.muffys.com/

They also carry Saddle Shoes too. Good luck and please let me know how you make out. Better yet, how about a couple pictures when your all done with your "Little Girl's" Outfits. How about some Dr. Dentens too?

Hi Katzschen. I LOVE TORRIDS. They have some great Mary Janes there, and I even got a pair of Ankle Straps from them too.

Sincerly, in Mary Janes, BalletBob

Don't laugh  .... LaneBryant.com  has MaryJanes in Wide and WW up to like a size 13.  I have a cute denim jumper I got there as well.
