No! Sheesh you people. I'm way too much of a lightweight to be hanging around with all you sadists.

I cut it off, especially fun in hairy areas, and makes things all nice and smooth, with lots of little screams and ouches.

We do test each candle first, but so long as it isn't going to cause second degree burns or nothing, we will use colored and sometimes scented candles. It's fun when working with two with different temperatures. We're also evil and vary the distance from 2in away from the skin to 5ft ;)

I like making pockets in soft wax on the skin, and pouring more in...
with the ice too but it makes the wax more brittle in my humble experience,
I used thin plastic credit type cards before moving forward with a knife...

For people who want "nice" removal, but can't handle knives, I have two of the silliest things in the world, but they do the job. They are these little plastic spatulas. One came in a cookie making kit and the other from some cheap pumpkin carving thing. Probably a little thicker than a credit card but easier to maneuver.

It never ceases to amaze Me where some of the best stuff comes from.

Oh no kidding. One of my favorite little devices for impact play is a small plastic thing with a short handle and a large round magnet embedded(approx 2" in circumference) in the end. It's meant for picking up needles and pins.

Nice little toy that gives great bang for the buck. It's lamb's and he knows if it goes missing, where to look !!

I love that tiny "paddle."

Kit, just make sure to keep them outta cathair range... trust me on this. Cat hair on candles make cute little flair-ups.... kinda like mini-sparklers

I can't be the only one who uses a mini blow torch and remelts the wax off the body! I layer it on pretty thick first though and only use that method down to the second layer ... then I turn to a knife and after, the bottom into a hot shower to get the rest. I'm too lazy to want to have to clean up the wax after the scene by what, for me, would be a haphazard removal if I used a flogger.. plus, i don't want to mess up my floggers.. too expensive.

Oh, GT.. zippers and wax (the seamstresses here will know why zippers and wax go together! hehehe) I have totally done that.. what a hoot but.. the wax went flying everywhere when the zipper was yanked off.. (I TOLD him I thought it would be better to pull it off slowly, but fucker yanked and I had one piece of wax just miss my eye.) It was cool though.. I love zippers, I love wax .. I'll have to see if I can find the 'before' pics from that one.. as I recall they were very colorful.

If you go with the yank.. put some goggles on both of you! (The voice of experience.)

Never let an idiot with "sealing wax" near you with wax play on the mind. Shock prods are a well deserved discouragement for such things.

If unsure of the wax, try it on yourself first to gauge the intensity of the heat. It is easier to explain a small blister on the back of a hand than several in, ahem, other places.

Scented candles can retain heat differently from unscented ones... test!

A paraffin bath (Google or eBay if you need a look) with artists brushes can be an interesting visual as opposed to the usual drippage work. Dipping in a paraffin bath can be interesting as well as good for sore hands in a vanilla aspect. My girl got me a paraffin bath after I dislocated a thumb at work. The heat was great for healing the hand and she enjoyed some of the other uses I found for it.
