Yay I'm quite excited now. It's monthly so if we can't make it this time at least it's not too long til the next one. Ishtarr - I'm now looking at that site and lusting after the 'barbed wire' flogger.

I love the barbed wire floggers, my husband does not... so they're not a high priority item for us currently, though I will get one eventually for the sadist/top in me. Jack used to have a whole bunch of sued and fur floggers on his site that where interlaced with thin wires braided in to they work for indirect play with the violet wand, and a bunch of other things he currently doesn't have anymore. It's my go to site for when I'm lusting after great. I LOVE the finish he has on his items, he's always got something interesting and new.

I have felt a whole range of cane, from very thin whippy that feelslike fire, to thick thuddy canes that take days for the bruise to make it to the surface. The very thick ones feel thuddy to me. All canes can vary in the intensity of the pain depending on who and how it is wielded. Short, rhythmic taps can be erotic. I used to be very afraid of the cane until I had a wonderful Dom teach me how to process that particular kind of pain. Now I adore canes. I find them to be a very versatile tool. My advice for making being caned a less unpleasant experience is to relax as much as possible and remember to breathe. If you can visualize the pain as heat, feel the initial fire as it strikes you then watch/feel the heat spread downward to your girly parts. Hopefully your husband has some experience with using a cane. If not he should at least read on the subject and ask advice on a forum if he won't have someone mentor him in person. I bought my own canes soon after experiencing them even though I didn't have a dominant to use them on me. The Dom/Domme couple I was visiting had their own variety of canes they liked. I considered the ones I bought to be part of my hope chest. I have over the last 2 years collected a few tools that I like but not everyone has the skill to use. Most of them are now hanging on Master's wall. He's got mad skills. I hope you find a way to enjoy this new experience. sandy
