As opposed to assuming that the untermensch have to pay taxes instead of the elite, right.

As far as I can tell, the biggest difference between the left and right is that the right are ruled by people with the offshore accounts that are doing a bang up job of selling their minions a bunch of smoke and mirrors about job creation and leftist take everyone's money bull. All while cackling behind their hands that the poor suckers are paying the income taxes they should be paying, but are able to get away not having to do so.

The far left just wants equal taxation for all, equal oportunity for all, fix things before they are broke instead of running around like chicken little after they are broken, screaming about the cost of the fix.

Equal taxation? How is a progressive tax equal?
Equal opportunity? Then why are outcomes considered?
Fix things before they are broke? How can one identify that which is functional and operating, as designed, as broke?

X works just fine. Time to repair it before it breaks. It's terrible thing, the cost of fixing it after it's broke, ya know?

Really sucks to be a leftist, doesn't it? All that cash out there and you can't get your grubby little fingers on it.

Now, I don't like fraud which is what a lot of the crap is these days. But the left sure is in need of more of others people's money.

Does not the right also seek more of other peoples money?

Of course they do. But it's all prettied up in cool stuff like military spending rather than infrastructure and human services. That nasty socialist type spending they hate so much.

Of course. But the neo-con right isn't as much fun to pick on on these boards as they don't drool all over the place over it.

It would be interesting to know what this money is exactly doing there. It could cause significant inflation if moved into the US.

How would that sort of magic happen, it is sitting there, and it would sit here.  Banks and business are sitting on piles and piles and piles of money, right here, right now, the reason you are seeing nothing in the way of inflation is because it is sitting.

well,... take a look at who is buying much of the bargain priced real estate in the US right now.. its mostly people from around the world.. which if you look at real estate prices & inventory has done a lot to stabilize the housing markets, some which now has been increasing in the sale price paid..
defintion of inflation- "A general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money."
Imo, we are experiencing inflation now in some real estate markets..

Imo, if someone were to bring their offshore money into the US, they would do something with it cuz it makes no sense to move it from its nice cozy spot its in now otherwise..

Equal taxation? How is a progressive tax equal?

Perhaps because it places the tax burden on those who receive the most benifits of those taxes.
Kinda like when you go to the grocery store you pay more if you take more.

Equal opportunity? Then why are outcomes considered?

Outcomes are the result of inputs...if they do not match then does it not follow that the protocol be examined and if "equal opportunity" was a factor in the falure that would be why.

Only the dullest would fail to notice the numerous historical manifestations of this.

X works just fine. Time to repair it before it breaks. It's terrible thing, the cost of fixing it after it's broke, ya know?

Analog worked just fine why switch to digital?
Y2k was not a significant problem because it got "fixed" (at serious financial costs) before anything got "broken".

fine, only when dealing with the gubafia are you able to be both beneficiary and trustee at the same time.

the rest of us real people would be in violation of fundamental trust law

if we are the damn beneficiary then I demand the fucking trustee to pay the bills!

That would seem to translate to a yes but:
Is the but that you lack the intellectual ability to do so?
Is the but that you choose a hypocrytical position because you lack the ethical base to assess and address the truth?

Where is your evidence that the money isnt used to create jobs

The copy-and-paste in your OP only laments that the ruling elite isnt taking more money out of private hands. It offers no evidence that said money isnt used to produce things in the private sector, including jobs

Really! How does it make the assumption that "a citizens' money belongs to the governments of the world, that we are all slaves to the ruling class?"

All my comment says is that the taxes due on those funds would make a big difference to government budgets, which is simply common sense. The rest is in your imagination, Mr Sanity

While you are thinking about it, you might like to estimate the number of jobs that would be created if these people, instead of hiding their wealth offshore, invested it onshore and actually created jobs instead of avoiding paying their fair share. Remember this money belongs to those who the billionaire friendly Right have been claiming are already over taxed and can't afford to pay any more taxes

How much of that money, do you think, is connected to those who pass the laws

In that article or another about the same "study" I saw mention that some of it belonged to a Russian president, or perhaps it was Russian presidents, plural

It isn't being used to create american jobs, and even you should be able to think that thru and see why in less than 4 seconds.

Why is it the people who don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of, and don't pay ANY federal tax, are usually the ones who are the most vocal in worrying about how the rich shelter money the rich have EARNED? Maybe worry that their gravy train might end?

Also the people who think government is infalible and wisely spends our tax maney. Did you ever wonder why someone would spend millions on an election, only to win a job paying MUCH LESS than the cost of the election? Either they would have to be an egomaniac and really enjoy that title, or there must be a hell of a lot of money to be made "under the table" as an elected official. Oh, they are concerned citizens who only want to "serve." Yeah, right. Ever notice Presidents are usually fairly well off when running and after out of office, their assets are greatly increased? Wonder why.
